Canada's melodic music creator and skilled Producer Ceesar is bound to make his way to your speakers one way or another.
After taking advantage of the summer's collaborative spirit with his EP "Hustle & Passion" (Co-Produced by Lynx), Ceesar has been reaping the rewards of releasing textured music that defies the boundaries of any one genre.
With tracks like "Drunkin Text" that falls towards R&B and "Day 2 Day" that's seeping with bass, Ceesar's music is a truly unique and unforgettable experience. Not to mention giving his music a kick of wise and sound messages, we're sure that Ceesar will be a household name inevitably soon. Ceesar is never one to shy away from samples and the art of mixing the old and the new. It's safe to say that his unique sound brings a fresh wave of authenticity that's genuinely hard to come by, yet Ceesar makes it look incredibly easy. His melodic bars bring a sense of individuality alongside the powerful atmospheres he carefully produces.
Each of Ceesar's tracks exudes a different feel where the listener can steadily grasp the meticulous and precise arrangement that never fails to astound us. It's not every day we come across someone with such vast talent, and someone who can immerse themselves within elements of various genres. Ceesar not only inhibits these qualities but is constantly developing his sound to stay as current and fresh as possible.
Hi Ceesar! It's great to chat with you on BuzzMusic! What are you most excited about accomplishing at the end of 2020 as it marks only the second year you've been active under the moniker of "Ceesar?"
Thank you for having me, it’s great to be here! At the end of 2020, I want to be able to look back over the past year and see how far I’ve come. Seeing the improvements I made as an artist will inspire me, even more, to keep moving forward and constantly grow. Also, the fact that I dropped 'Hustle & Passion' this year makes me excited, after all the hard work it came together.
What's been the most exciting part about collaborating with "Lynx" for this record, and what do you think he brings to this selection of music reaching us this year?
Apart from seeing someone who is truly passionate about what they do, I would say the critical skills I am learning, which allows me to grow as an artist. Lynx brings a lot to the table! We started working on my second project from the beginning so once that is finished you will truly see all the hard work and the improvements I have been talking about … you 100% have my word on that.
What fuels your creative intuitions and the enthusiasm you have behind making your career take flight?
I have always been a go-getter in my life, it’s natural for me to want to constantly improve but I enjoy the process as well. I think when someone enjoys the process it allows the creativity and enthusiasm to be that much better, which in the end delivers a better final product.
What sorts of things can we expect out of 'Hustle & Passion' as a whole record?
Lots! You will hear a few genres, a song for every mood, and most excitingly which I think at least … the fact that this is my first project as an artist. It’s my entrance into music, such a blessed feeling.
2020 has been a challenging year, to say the least. What has been keeping you inspired and what kind of advice would you give to artists who are finding it more challenging to stay creative?
It definitely has been a challenging year in many ways. For me, I always look to constantly improve myself, knowing that there is still so much ahead and more to learn, I’m excited and inspired by that. Seeing my progress and going through the hard work motivates me tremendously! I would say to surround yourself with good people who motivate you to be creative or even better, have people around that you trust and can bounce ideas off.
