Blast Off With Slendo and His Latest Album, DOLOWORLD

From Chattanooga, Tennessee, hip-hop recording artist, rapper, and producer Slendo blesses us with new beginners through his stimulating fourth studio album, 'DOLOWORLD.'

The Tennessee-hailing artist has experienced his fair share of adversity, channeling those struggles and tribulations through his expressive music. In his latest album, 'DOLOWORLD,' Slendo uses the record to mark a new beginning for him and his artistry, smacking listeners with irresistible modern hip-hop that separates Slendo's music from the rest.

He kicks off the new album with the energetic introductory track, "OuttaOrbit*," which pumps through our speakers with spacey synths and choppy hip-hop drums, launching the rocket that is the album. Slendo wastes no time jumping into his heated bars and equally scorching delivery, touching on staying focussed on the goal and taking off into orbit with some good weed and some good music.

Slendo keeps the energy going in track number two, "4D*," spinning through our speakers with melodic, light, and spacious synths that leap into the mid-tempo first verse. Slendo's rhythmic vocal delivery compliments the stimulating beat so well, and his expressive bars about living life to the fullest are more than refreshing. We're impressed by how easy it is to listen to Slendo's music; he never fails to serve a unique sonic experience that leaves us wanting more.

On track number three, "HoldDemRacks*," he gives us more. Slendo kicks the song into gear with buzzy and high-energy synth arrangements that resemble the otherwordly vibes of Lil Ui Vert or Playboy Carti. This anthemic and exhilarating song reminds us to have a good time, turn off the outside world, and make some memories. Slendo's exciting vocal delivery sets various luxurious scenes that leave us itching to hop on a jet.

Jumping into the album's fourth track, "Invalid*," the airy and celestial atmosphere melts our speakers while Slendo hops on the verse alongside crisp, mid-tempo drum arrangements. While letting others know they're "Invalid*," Slendo flows through our speakers with confidence and authority, helping us kick back and focus on his attention-commanding performance. He blesses us with so much energy throughout the song, keeping us locked into the song and the whole album at large.

Moving onto the fifth track, "Program*," Slendo blasts us into outer space through an array of buzzy electronic synths that smoke our speakers alongside lively drums and his playful performance. This is another melodic head-bopper that throws us onto the dancefloor while Slendo keeps the party alive with his exciting bars and stimulating sonics. The song's production is top-tier, and we're ready to keep it on blast all summer long.

The same goes for the album's sixth track and halfway mark, "HighOffU*," where Slendo smacks us with gripping and bright sonics alongside tight drums to kick the song into gear. Slendo takes on a more personal and passionate lyrical theme, rapping about how he's never felt this way before and basking in the euphoric sensations of someone's presence. It's a truly refreshing track that helps us get to know Slendo that much more.

For the first time on the album, Slendo pairs up with a fellow rapper for track number seven, "SummertimeVibes*." Right off the bat, Slendo has us floating on cloud nine with the feel-good, electronic atmosphere and the chilling hook. He's accompanied by Trueyy Hendrix, who throws us into the energetic and vibrant side of hip-hop while setting the tone for an unforgettable summer. Both he and Slendo deliver a brilliant and dynamic back and forth to keep the energy at a thrilling high.

Keeping that otherworldly vibe going is the eighth track, "BoughtHerANecklace," which has us bopping our heads and tapping our toes instantly. Slendo teams up with rapper Louie Deuce, who tackles the first verse with authority while discussing the extravagant presents he gives to his girl. Slendo touches on a similar theme while throwing us into the buzzy and electrifying sonics that makes the experience whole and well-rounded.

In track number nine, Slendo reminds us that "GirlsJustWannaHaveFun*," and he's right. This exhilarating track takes off like a rocket launch, packed with stimulating synths and heavy drums to keep the groove alive. Slendo's bars discuss relatable and exciting scenes, rapping about how some girls want to party, some girls want money, and some girls will stop at nothing to get both. It's an anthemic and exciting track that has us ready for a night in the club.

Onto the album's tenth track, "Bankroll$*," Slendo opens the song on more of a vibrant pop note while slowly shifting into a bouncy and rich hip-hop beat. Slendo's bars ask us, what would we do for a bankroll? It's clear that Slendo is no stranger to the grind, especially as he raps about his past and how we came from nothing to make his dreams a reality. It's another exciting and meaningful track, reminding us that hard work always pays off.

Landing on the album's final and title track, "DOLOWORLD*," Slendo arrives at the last stop of his journey onto the planet he created to escape our stressful world. His smooth and drum-heavy production allows him to shine bright in the spotlight while emphasizing that authenticity is the greatest characteristic we can obtain. And, sometimes, all it takes is making a life for yourself far away from where haters can bring you down.

We're wildly impressed with the sonic world Slendo created throughout the entire album; his ferocious bars and unique sound are destined to stand the test of time. When you're ready to take off out of this world, hit play on Slendo's fourth studio album, 'DOLOWORLD,' now available on all digital streaming platforms.

Welcome to BuzzMusic, Slendo. What an exhilarating experience you've delivered in your fourth studio album, DOLOWORLD. What inspired you to create this album and make your own world out of it?

I really just wanted to try something new and different for me. My goal was to immerse the listener into another world with the style of beats throughout the project and just send the listener on a trip to 'DOLOWORLD.'

What sort of vibe were you going for when creating the production for 'DOLOWORLD?' Did any artists or projects influence the album's sound?

I wanted to make an album that really captured the sound of outer space or being on another planet. It's very new-gen inspired and something that the newer generation, people even younger than me, will gravitate to and come back to in the future as I keep releasing music. How does the 'DOLOWORLD' album contrast your previous three albums? How is this project different from the last three?

It's really its own experience, sonically, it's very different from any other project just because of the style and sound. I really tried to make my own world through the music, you guys can decide if I did that or not. Do you have a favorite song from the album 'DOLOWORLD?' What makes that song stand out to you?

Man that's a tough question, all of them mean a lot to me. It honestly might be HoldDemRacks* because that was the first song made with this kind of sound, on a "Rage" beat, if you want to call it that. A close second has gotta be Bankroll$, though. That song means a lot to me; I originally recorded it over a whole other beast. What do you want listeners to take away from the DOLOWORLD album? What do you want to leave them with?

I just want them to have fun with it! All Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring, just enjoy it and play it when you're out with your friends in the car. Play it when you're at a party. I just want people to make memories of it. What's next for you? Going crazy all Summer, for the rest of the year, really. I'm going to drop the Deluxe before the Summer ends; just keeping those vibes coming! Trying to build the brand and just get bigger and bigger!
