Splitting his time between Asbury Park and Nashville, singer-songwriter and recording artist Chris Gullace is treating listeners to his newest single, "Fun To Play Pretend," from his upcoming album titled Circumstances.

Growing up at the Jersey Shore, Chris obsessed over artists from Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana to Sublime and The Beatles. Now, as he continues making music under his moral code, "No two songs shall ever be alike," Chris Gullace is taking his personal songwriting and catchy tunes to Nashville and beyond.

The passionate singer-songwriter is on his way to releasing his newest album, Circumstances, with the release party at The House of Independents in Asbury Park on Friday, August 30 at 7 pm (tickets on sale now). Now releasing a new single every two weeks, Chris Gullace is leading the charge with his recent release, "Fun To Play Pretend."

Expanding on the new single, "Fun To Play Pretend" opens with bright electric guitar and smooth country-rock instrumentals leading into Chris Gullace's velvety vocals. As he expresses the feeling of summer fading away and a fire's dying ember, he promises to hold onto this person's love for as long as he can...or at least until summer's end. Summer love can't always last, but he admits that it can be "Fun To Play Pretend."

It's an upbeat, catchy, passionate song that tracks an enchanting summer fling and all its peaks and valleys—from the crazy late nights to the sad summer's end. The song's smooth instrumentals, paired with Chris Gullace's warm vocals and emotive performance, make us especially excited to see what he brings to the table in his upcoming album, Circumstances.

Hear it yourself and find Chris Gullace's newest single, "Fun To Play Pretend," on all digital streaming platforms.
