CLRWTR Takes You to Another Galaxy With “Airbender – Remastered”

New music from artist CLRWTR will have you rethinking some of life’s greatest questions. He aims to make sense of the overflowing amount of data in his mind and address government corruption alongside science.

“Airbender – Remastered” is a track off of CLRWTR’s album “Age of Aquarius”. It is mostly spoken, almost poem-like, a statement to his listeners. “Airbender – Remastered” is a truly unique song, with otherworldly lines and idiosyncratic instrumentation.

Nearing the end of the song, CLRWTR makes use of eccentric voice effects, his voice falling deeper and deeper much like his thoughts. “Airbender – Remastered” touches on everything from electromagnetic communication to his ideas on reconstructing the world. He welcomes you to the Age of Aquarius where equality reigns, not just in our world but others as well.

His goal is to spark conscious thought about all things and the universe, leaving you with more questions than answers. CLRWTR’s views on the world are scientific yet ethereal, bringing you along a journey of understanding and enlightenment.

His path in life has brought him clarity and has allowed him to navigate the universe and its complexities. “Airbender – Remastered” gives you a lot to think about, and the rest of CLRWTR’s album “Age of Aquarius” comes with the same dynamic thought and power.

“Airbender – Remastered” has quite a complex theme, how did you gather your thoughts and project them into this unpredictable idea?

The name 'Airbender' was inspired by my zodiac sign, Aquarius, which represents the element of air. The song was constructed after months of training my brain to see reality as a programmable simulation of moving information. The lyrics describe what it's like to travel through the multiverse. The beat eventually starts playing in reverse and I scientifically explain how everyone has the ability to navigate this multiverse through the electromagnetic waves we receive from all every object in existence. Mathematically, the 4th dimension is space and time. Your mind's imagination exists in the 5th dimension because it bends space, allowing your mind to travel to anywhere.

How would you describe the “Age of Aquarius”? What about this theme stood out to you, and called you to make "Age of Aquarius" your album title?

The album transforms the listener with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of our current reality. It's designed to break the shell of the ego. I talk about government and corporate corruption while teaching how to fight back by strengthening your consciousness. I chose that title because earth is starting to magnetically connect with the constellation Aquarius, which provided me with the creative neurons that shaped my album.

What inspired you to choose the title CLRWTR? Does this name have parallels to your music?

My middle name is Clearwater. My music brings clarity and energetic flow to every environment it's played in. Also, water moves exactly like energy and has been proven to hold memory. Our memory records different points in time. The solar system is a giant clock cycling through time. Cycles form rings, and the rings of Saturn are full of ice. Ancient texts and hieroglyphs around the world suggest that Saturn was once a dwarf star with a red glow. Due to the heat, the rings of ice would be a giant river. Saturn is synonymous with the Greek god Kronos who is known as the father of time.

How long has music been a part of your life, and what drew you to express your thoughts and ideas in this way?

My parents always listen to hip hop so I've been hearing it my whole life. I think I was 12 years old when I started making music on an online software called soundation. At around 13 or 14 years old I switched to using Ableton Live, which elevated my production ability. I'm motivated to share my perspective because, by understanding, we live in the matrix of our subconscious mind, we can be free from all self-doubt.

What has been your biggest source of inspiration while creating new music this year?

The pandemic has been a big inspiration to get vocal about the psychological warfare that has been targeted at everybody for thousands of years. My main goal is to prepare everyone for this age of mental rebirth because many people are having a hard time staying sane. I'm here to raise awareness while simultaneously calming people down by reminding them of the infinite strength that lives within them.
