deFrance Keeps Rock n Roll Alive With New Single “Keep The Night On It” + Exclusive Interview

From the south, coming from places such as Arkansas and Texas, today we are reminded that Rock N Roll is alive and well. deFrance has driving riffs for days on end, like a train that just keeps rolling on a mission, and we are all aboard. Where we are going? Riff city!

Their new single “Keep The Night On It” takes you from wherever you are, whatever you are doing, and brings you aboard this Rock N Roll train that rides forever. The song opens up with smashing guitars and cymbals, then rips right into a rocking riff and the song's title. The music is influenced by blues, as much Rock N Roll is. The melodies are amazing and reminiscent of classic Rock but still feel new to us. Easy to sing along to and easy to clap along, yes they have claps in the song! The track graced with amazing lead guitar work that is completely face-melting and features a few solos! I haven’t heard anything this raw since Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The song is short, sweet and to the point. Clocking at 2:34, it’s honestly all you need. The message is there, the tunes are there and this anthem of a Rock N Roll waiving flag is enough for is to know that deFrance is keeping the music and movement alive. Be sure to keep up to date with deFrance and watch out for what’s next for these rockers!

Thanks for talking with us today at Buzz Music deFrance! Your new single “Keep The Night On It” is a true machine for Rock n Roll music. How did this song come about, what’s the story?

The song came about after arguing over a bottle of Jameson in Nashville.

There was an early childhood event that happened that’s very sad which is a beautiful way inspired you to play music. Do you want to share your story at all?

My brother and 2 best friends passed away in a car wreck while driving to my 14 birthday party. That’ll give you the blues.

How do you find being from Texas and playing Rock N Roll? Do you feel out of place or are you right at home?

Being from Arkansas and the Southern United States it only made sense to play the music that originated here. Rock & Roll Music was born out of Blues and Country Music or as Muddy Waters famously said: “The Blues had a baby and they named it Rock n Roll!”

What has been your biggest accomplishment as a band?

Performing at our hometown Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas is our biggest accomplishment yet! It was an amazing experience that will happen again!

Lastly, what do you want to leave your fans with and where can they keep up to date with you?
