At the age of 6, Demon started playing piano and as he furthered into his years he started to get into music production and writing. Demon has eleven years experience with piano, he is currently only 17 years old and is based in Madrid, Spain. He writes, produces, and sings all of his original tracks. In late November of 2017 he released his first album titled, “Timeline”. Currently working on his new album, Demon is focusing this one on themes that revolve around mental health and the influence that people have over each other by swaying their opinions and thoughts. His style is characterized by chill and laid back tracks with a focus on emotions for the listener to perceive themselves.
The track is titled “Hurricanes” and Demon bluntly states the basis of the song by saying, “A hurricane, a strong force that destroys everything in its path. If a hurricane were to happen to your heart, it would destroy your will, but you'd still struggle for someone you care about”. The track does start off with Demon’s signature laid-back and chill sound with its lo-fi beats bringing the listener into a more relaxed state. With your mind at ease you start hearing the lyrics that Demon presents. Intense, frustrated, and hurt is what Demon brings to the forefront. Very blunt and to the point. it evokes emotion and he lets you know exactly how he is feeling. The ability for him to emote through song,is what makes Demon such a talented musician and artist.

Care to introduce yourself to our readers? Can you give us a brief history of your musical career?
My name is Demon, I’m a Spanish singer and songwriter. I’m 17 years old and writing music is one of my greatest passions. I Started writing music when I was a little kid, I’d just jump onto the piano and start singing while hitting notes on the piano. And I’ve since learnt how to produce, record, mix music, and Ive just continued learning. My history in the music career comes down to having released a single early 2017 and an album late November 2017.
How did you come up with your name? Is there a meaning behind it?
Demon. My artist name really comes down to a few years back a girl called me Demon, she called me it as if it were the most natural thing in the world. And I jokingly put it on my social media and I’ve come to love the name. I wish I could say that there was some sort of meaning behind it, but it's just a weird story. 😂
Do you write your own music? Can you tell us a bit about your writing style?
Yes! I write all of my music, and I produce it as well. My process comes down to just playing around on the computer or on the piano, I start humming something out loud, and If I really like it, I write it all out. I like to have my beats done before I write the words, so I can match the words to what the music is expressing. My style, I’d say, is more on the chill/pop side. But It really depends the mood I’m in.
We’re really into your new song "Hurricane"! Can you tell us a bit about it? Where did the inspiration behind the song come from?
Thank you! My new single ‘Hurricanes’ is a mix of emotions and dreams that one can have or think when they are deeply in love. The song is talking about somebody giving up their mind and soul for the happiness of someone else, complete devotion for the other person. The inspiration, if you could call it that, was me laying in bed with my DAW opened up. I wrote some chords down with the Rhodes keyboard, my girlfriend texted me and I told her I would write a song dedicated to her. And that's what I came up with.
What’s next for Demon?
This single, Hurricanes will be available on all platforms by september 4th. I have another single scheduled for November, and my album L.S.D. will be released early 2019. I will be updating information and posting snippets up on my social media such as Twitter and Instagram.
