The more you listen to “Rising Up” the more liberated you feel. It’s like you’re escaping your self-doubts and past failure to rise up and overcome all obstacles and challenges that lie ahead of you. Emerald B provides positive and uplifting messages through her music and this theme was highly recognizable in “Rising Up”. What helped emphasized the passionate songwriting was, of course, the passionate delivery from Emerald B herself. Emerald B has a beautiful vocal tone that’s equipped with great texture and quality. She was able to take her voice into piercing high notes while remaining on key and having strong breath control.

Welcome to BuzzMusic Emerald B! What would you consider some of your early inspirations for your pursuits for music and why?
An early inspiration for my pursuits for music was Hannah Montana because I watched her when I was little and I was so inspired by her I also am so encouraged by my parents. They help me with everything and without them, I wouldn’t have been where I am now.
Tell us about your record “Rising Up.” this song resonated well with us here at BuzzMusic, What inspired you to write this?
Rising Up is about becoming a better person and changing for the good. I got inspired to write this because as a 14-year old I realized that we all make mistakes but every day you can get better and better.
What was the most challenging aspect of creating “Rising Up” and why?
The most challenging aspect of creating Rising Up was making sure everything sounded good and making the lyrics right.
What was your personal favorite element to “Rising Up” Emerald B? My favorite element to Rising Up would be the amazing instrumental made by Jan Jansen and how the lyrics I wrote are so inspirational and relatable
What are you looking forward to the most in this year of 2020?
In 2020 I am looking forward to writing and releasing new original songs and performing at more events during the summer. Stay tuned!
