506 is known for his versatility and high energy performances whether it be melodic conscious rap or heavy 808 traps. The African Australian, singer-songwriter and producer, who originates from South Sudan, migrated from the war-torn land to Australia where he was raised. 506 began producing, writing and creating his own content in 2011, which has lead him to this climbing peek in his music career.
506 has shown no signs of slowing down this year, with the release of his highly anticipated single 'Drive'. The song features well versed hooks and witty lyricism - we especially love the reference to Beyonce's 'Drunk In Love'. The song is built musically on a down-tempo, RnB trap infused beat. 506's vocals mesh into the song perfectly with the perfect balance of rapping and melodies.
506 brings us his new music video that freshly released this week. We were lucky enough to chat with 506 about the meaning of 'Drive' and the story behind it. The music video tells a story of him going to meet that special someone. Put yourself in his shoes, think of the goosebumps, the butterfly's and the rush your body gives you when you are about to meet that special someone. 506 captures that feeling perfectly in his music video.
We love his bust out dance moves in the hills, to the short-film like cuts of him riding around in the car leading up to the special moment. 506 is sure to make waves across the nation with his new single 'Drive', and we can't wait to hear what's next!

Tell us a bit about your new song and the writing style behind it.
My latest song DRIVE has an R&B style to it with a modern vibe. I also just recently released the music video, check it out on the 6KMC Youtube!
Where did the inspiration behind the song come from?
My drive behind this song was due to a past experience that I had with someone special who inspired me to write this tune.
What are the top 3 things you would love your fans to know about you on the more personal side of things?
