The song also made a feature in the Netflix original “Club de Cuervos”. Continuing with his milestones, Malexes single “We need To Get Free” entered the "Top 100 iTunes Dance Charts". Malexes is currently working on new music, so make sure to follow him on his social media links to connect with him.
“My Endless Vacation”, produced by Malexes and features German vocalist "Elaysa" and hip hip hop artist “E.One”. The track really takes on a care free vibe with heavy futuristic beats and pop vocals. E.One has a cool edgy rap verse which contrasts beautifully with Elaysa’s pretty vocal timbre. The mix of instrumental and vocals captures the listeners attention while they hear the light percussion that gets the listener moving and grooving along to the song. It’s interesting how Malexes combines what sounds like a classic string section with its revving beat alluding to the chorus. A great hit to add to your playlist for your next vacation!

Care to introduce yourself to our readers? Can you give us a brief history of your musical career?
Hey! My name is Malexes and I’m a 24- year old producer based in Munich, Germany. I've been playing piano since I was five and taught myself how to compose & produce electronic pop music from scratch. I’m signed to six international record labels and charted in various countries. My music appeared on international radio stations and was featured on a Netflix original TV Show.
How did you come up with your name? Is there a meaning behind it?
The name Malexes is a cross section between my first name Alexander and middle name Maximilian with an “es” at the end to make the pronunciation smoother. It also gives it a special touch that girls love!
Do you write your own music? Can you tell us a bit about your writing style?
Yes - I do! I’ve wrote the lyrics to most of my projects together with the featured vocalists/ rappers and composed the instrumental parts either on my own or in collaboration with other producers. I’m mainly writing what comes to my mind and go with the flow of the instrumental chord progression. But sometimes I also include experiences from events that have influenced me!
We’re really into your new song! Can you tell us a bit about it? Where did the inspiration behind the song come from?
Actually there is quite a story behind “My Endless Vacation”. Initially I composed an instrumental called "Symphony Of Mind“
which was an uplifting energetic progressive house track! The track was included on my first studio album and back than I went to my recording studio “Hicktown Records” to record vocals for another track and they recommended me to get in touch with the talented vocalist Elaysa. Soon after we’ve started writing lyrics together and Elaysa came up with the insanely catchy hookline of the song. But at this point it was still a progressive house track and we had something else in mind so I’ve reworked the track to make it more commercial and to give it the summer feel good sound. A few weeks later I met the Italian musician Edoardo aka. E.One on a birthday party in London. We’ve started talking about music and suddenly he started to do a sick freestyle rap. We immediately knew we had to work on a project together. So Edo wrote and recorded the rap parts of the song and the whole track came together. The whole writing, production and recording process took over one year, but we are very proud of the result!
What’s next for you?
I've been extremely busy this summer working on my music, so there will be more coming soon. I'm especially looking forward to releasing my remix of „Heartbeat“ an amazing vocal song by Denis Goldin & Rob Hazen. I’ve been traveling through Spain this summer with my girlfriend and I’ve just uploaded the video footage as a music video for the song on my YouTube Channel - so you can already get a sneak peek there - it’s actually not a sneak peek but the full song!
