Hey Ben! Congrats on the release of your new single “God’s Got Me”! What does this song represent for you?
It truly defines me as an everyday person in life. Knowing no matter whatever I am facing, going through or what my past has done to me, I know that God has always been by my side every step of the way.
Where is the best setting to listen to “God’s Got Me”, and what do you hope people take away from it?
I feel like if you're facing anything at this point in your life you should turn this song up til your neighbors hear it or the car beside you give you "that look". I hope that if you're facing stress, depression, anxiety or whatever it may be God has your back and trust in that always.
What’s your favorite lyric that you feel has the most impact in “God’s Got Me”? Why?
"I want the World to see, how you live in me, with every chance that I breathe, I'm praising G-O-D". To me that line sticks out even on my bad days that I face. I never know who might be watching me or looking up to me whether it's my own kid or someone else's I want the World to see how Jesus lives in me.
If you had to pick just one song in your collection to adequately describe your sound, which song would you choose and why?
That's a great question and to answer it as honestly as possible I truly do not know. I love to be creative and even after 15yrs of creating music I still love to step out of comfort zones and create new sounds within myself or with collaborations. I hope that my fans could answer this one better than I can.
It wasn’t long since we’ve last featured your music! How do you stay on track to create relevant content so consistently?
I GENUINELY LOVE MAKING MUSIC. As an independent artist you have to really stay on top of your music releases and promotion. Continuously trying to reach new people and develop a wider fanbase. I do believe that God will direct me in the right direction. Do you have any upcoming events or shows you’d like to talk about? What’s next for you through the end of 2019?
