In the age of 2018 flashing lights, heavily auto-tuned vocals and of course the infamous lip synched performances. For Laura Cheadle, all of those things are unnecessary. Laura is a well rounded artist, and a natural talent at that. Laura is able to control her powerful voice while knowing when it is necessary to be tender. Laura's music consists of rock, funk and soulful blues resulting in a unique combination, that is sure to suck the listener in with her voice and raw performance.
"Reverberate" starts off with a cool funky intro with a groovy electronic piano and some brass percussion. Laura’s sultry vocals come into play and the listener enters to a world of 70s groove with some 80s accents in the mix. The bass line really moves the song, which is something that most people overlook but is a core aspect in the song, it's what gives the song its groove and funk. This song has a chill relaxed vibe, making it perfect for a relaxing night while you wind down. The instrumental is very complex and all parts musically come together in perfect harmony as the song progresses. Laura shows that she has a sound of her own and doesn’t need flashy embellishments to catch your attention. Listen to "Reverberate" here.

How did you come up with your name? Is there a meaning behind it?
My real name is LAURA CHEADLE!
Do you write your own music?
Yes! I write everything myself and sometimes collaborate with a select musicians I admire.
Can you tell us a bit about your writing style?
It varies! Sometimes, I wake up with lyrics in my head and run to my guitar. Other times, I will have a melody in my head for months and finally find the inspiration to write it. I truly write from my heart and soul and never write ‘just to write’. I always need to be inspired.
We’re really into your new song! Can you tell us a bit about it? Where did the inspiration behind the song come from?
Thank you!!! ‘Reverberate’ is a song that I wrote in about one hour. Where did the inspiration behind the song come from? ‘Reverberate’ is about that moment before you are about to kiss someone, the sensual energy that builds up and that feeling of lust. It can also be about reconnecting with someone. The groove and the entire musical arrangement is very seductive. I have a new music video coming out this month for ‘Reverberate’ that was shot in club in Philly. Half of the music video will be animated! Stay tuned for the release on my social media!
