Dwight Walker, A rapper also known as “Mac Duddy $outh” hailing from Atlanta Georgia has released his new single “Shake Sum” and it embodies the new generation club banger with a catchy and addictive hook that’s hard to forget. Mac has a lot of older musical influences varying from the likes of Phil Collins & the “O’Jays’ to the 90s real rap lyricists of “Tupac” and “NWA”, and you can tell that he embraced all of his influencers into his own character and brand.
This single he just released shows the personality & charisma this artist possessed while also sticking to his rap roots with his gritty southern sound that you can tell was a product from his birthplace.
Duddy also released a music video to “Shake Sum” which shows him reflecting on his past hit and thinking how he can outdo himself. In the video, Mac goes to sleep and enters “Dreamworld” where he’s enjoying the Night-Life and women while rapping & performing his song. The video shows the outgoing personality that was already noticeable in the music itself. He wakes up at the end of the video with a smile on his face as he realizes he just got himself another hit in the making.

Care to introduce yourself to our readers?
What's going on world? I'm a new up and coming, underground hip hop artist Mac Duddy$outh checking in!
Can you give us a brief history of your musical career?
Started free styling and writing back in 1994, and started making my own beats in 1999.
How did you come up with your name? Is there a meaning behind it?
My name started out simply as "D". "Duddy" and "Mac" are basically my street names, so they just called me Duddy (pronounced like "Buddy", just with a "D" in it). Turned "Mac" into an acronym meaning " Musically Artistically Creative" or My A** Crazy", haha.
Do you write your own music? Can you tell us a bit about your writing style?
I ALWAYS write my own music, no question! They're merely written freestyles, then got back to "polish" the rough drafts. In many of my songs, you can tell if I wrote them, or freestyle.
We’re really into your new song! Can you tell us a bit about it?
Of course! My latest single, "Shake Sum", is the follow up single for my single I've dropped last year in 2017, "Money On The Floor". The story goes like this : looking back at the year I dropped my previous Strip Club anthem, wondering how I can top the song. I fall asleep, waking up in the VIP Room in the club of a very familiar place, I shot the last video at. I see a dancer, try to follow her, end up on a Party Bus, come across 3 dancers, two who are familiar from the last video, plus a new girl. we party on the bus...then, I wake up! You'll have to watch the video for yourself though, haha!
Where did the inspiration behind the song come from?
With Atlanta being considered having "The best Strip Clubs in the US", it's the dancers that can either make, or break a new artist's music career. I understand that everybody and their uncle have an ode to strippers type song, I wanted to step out the box, and give it a try, but not to be boxed into a certain kind of music...and behold, made it work!
What are three things you’d love your fans to know about you?
I like to cook.
I watch Anime
I'm also a Videographer and Editor
Any upcoming shows?
None at the moment, but for those who are interested, I'll keep you in the loop for when it goes down!
For someone who hasn’t seen you live yet, how would you describe your performance?
When it all comes together, it's unpredictable, depending on the crowds and ambiance. Rather put on the best ones, that I don't rap over the recordings, all live!
What’s next for you?
More music! There's always new music dropped and videos. Matter of fact, I'm shooting for a new one as soon as September 9th titled "I Been On". It's from my new mix tape "Straight Outta Riverdale : Duddy $eason". You can always keep up with me at my own, official website at www.macduddysouth.com to see what's next- I'm always working.
