Care to introduce yourself to our readers?

I am a 24-year-old singer-songwriter from France. I was born in Nantes, in the west, near Brittany. I released two self-produced demos in 2017, before recording my first EP in Los Angeles a few months ago. It is entitled "A Deal With Myself" and was released on every streaming and downloading platforms in early June 2018. The 4 songs of the EP are 4 chapters of my adventure from France to North America. I consider myself as a pop rock artist, or more particularly alternative pop rock.

Tell us a bit about your new song and the writing style behind it

I put a lot of emotion, a lot of meaning and a lot of details in the lyrics of my songs. I even posted notes on Facebook to explain my lyrics, so that people could catch the hidden puns or references. The EP is very introspective, self-motivational and full of hope. Personal but relatable. It was written for anyone who wants to make their dreams come true and don't know how to take action. It requires guts, a psychological journey, a wake-up call... The song "On My Way" is the last track of the album. It is a mid-tempo pop rock song, extremely enlightening, powerful and inspirational.

Where did the inspiration behind the song come from?

I wrote "On My Way' to express how I felt after years of fear that I would never become a singer, or worse, never have the courage to even take a shot at it. Singing is the only job that could make me happy a hundred percent but my vocal abilities decreased a lot for a few years. I did not know why and it scared me a lot. I wrote this song before I even recovered, because I knew I would do my best to get my voice back. That is why I explain in the lyrics that I lost a lot of time but it only brought me more strength and inspiration! A perfect way to end my first album.

What are the top 3 things you would love your fans to know about you on the more personal side of things?

First of all, I think people should know I feel like I was born to sing, and that is the only way I found to fully express myself. As far as I can possibly remember, I have always wanted to be a singer, even as a small child! Second of all, I have amazing songs that aren't produced yet, and they can expect very diverse and good surprises from me in the future. And last but not least, I definitely intend to write and sing in English AND in French. I will soon start to juggle with both languages because people have been requesting it, and I know I will enjoy it a lot. I have always dreamed of a bilingual career like Celine Dion's!

Do you have any upcoming shows? For someone who hasn’t seen you live yet, how would you explain your live performance?

My next shows will take place in France, I am currently scheduling them. But I will come back to the US as soon as I can! I post videos of me singing live on a regular basis on my social media profiles, because I feel like authenticity brings the audience closer to me, it is more intimate. My songs mean the world to me and I always give my all when I perform them. Apparently, people can tell, they feel it and appreciate it. Follow me on Instagram or Facebook to keep up with my music and to find out about my next showcases! Thanks a lot for the support!
