Welcome to BuzzMusic, Kaj! You absolutely knocked it out of the park with “Don’t Talk To Strangers." You mentioned that you’ve meant to do this Dio cover for a while, but can you take us through your creative process? How do you usually go about making music?

Thank you! I have had Dio as a vocal hero no. 1 since rainbow then followed and it has given inspiration for my songwriting. I've always been creative when it comes to music, in this case I thought "Don't Talk To Strangers" was a song that I could make my own version of and maybe then attract the younger generation to old hard rock today's soundscape. I create music through my experiences and inspire others with my lyrics and music.

What made you want to become a musician?

I decided quite early in my early teens when I got my first guitar and started practicing taking out songs and riffs from Black Sabbath records and a little later I started writing my own songs and it gave me more taste.

So you mentioned that your album “Nine Lives” will be released on vinyl this summer! Do you have any favourite songs on the album you’re excited for fans to hear?

All my songs on "Nine Lives" are my children, so ideally I want you to like all the songs. Femme Fatale, One Chance, Read This Song.....

How would you describe your sound to any new listeners?

I would describe my sound as 80s hard rock but in 2023 soundscape.

What’s next for Kaj Pousar?

New single will also be released in April 2023, also a cover song and then I will write new songs for a new album in 2023.
