Suave Colione and Lewis Dudley II have combined forces, releasing the laid-back love track “Sitcom Love”, destined to make you swoon.
Gospel/rap artist and songwriter Suave Colione’s passion for music and performance began at an extremely young age. Growing up in Savannah, Georgia, he developed a love for songwriting and rapping based on the Hip Hop music he heard his brother listening to throughout the years.
Colione slowly began developing his craft, consistently encouraged by his close-knit family along the way. Heavily influenced by his experiences in the church, later on, his focus is now dedicated to having his lyrics and rhymes reach the hearts of those searching for Christ. Colione has managed to develop an extremely unique brand and sound for himself over the years, and we can’t wait to see what he comes out with next.
Now, let's take a deeper look into his latest single, “Sitcom Love” feat. Lewis Dudley II. The song kicks off, and listeners are immediately met with Suave Colione’s smooth vocals, delivering his bars with the ease of a pro. He punches through the track with a captivating presence, allowing us the feel immediately comfortable and engaged with his lyrics.
The easy-going energy is matched perfectly by the production behind his lyrics. The beat gives a laid-back feeling to the track, reminiscent of old-school Hip hop from the 90s. The groove is infectious yet relaxed at the same time, and we can’t help but get carried away by it into the world Suave Colione and Lewis Dudley II have provided.
Once we reach the hook, listeners are met with Lewis Dudley II’s soulful, yearning vocals. His smooth runs float along with the hook, creating a lovely melodic contrast to the faster-paced bars that surround it. Both Suave Colione and Lewis Dudley II sing about the love they feel for the protagonist of the song, relating that feeling to the stand-out sitcom romances they've seen on the big screens, and we are eating it up.
Lay back and relax as Suave Colione serenades you with his latest single, “Sitcom Love” feat. Lewis Dudley II.
Welcome to BuzzMusic, Suave Colione! Congratulations on the release of your single, “Sitcom Love”! We can really feel the passion behind your lyrics within the track. Can you tell us a bit more about the inspiration behind the song?
I loved sitcoms growing up especially the classics like Martin, Livin Single, Family Matters, Good Times, etc, and not only laughter and entertainment but the depiction of black love and couples strength in relevance. When I was growing up I used to tell myself when I become a man I’ll find love like that lol.
Was this the first time you’d worked with Lewis Dudley II? No, it wasn’t me Lewis worked on my sophomore album as well on the track “Lost & Found” as well on several other occasions we’re like brothers and share similar perspectives on life and music What was the collaboration process like when you combined forces on the track? It was really fun, fluid, and just simply natural. I told Lewis about the concept and he loved it and once he heard the beat and the 1st verse concept the magic took place quickly
You’ve noted how religion and the church have helped to shape your journey through music. Can you elaborate a little more on how it might have helped to shape your sound and get you to where you are now?
Absolutely my music has been a spectator's view of my journey in God, in relation to him moving from the confines of religion to the limitless in a spiritual relationship. My music is complete “reel” hip hop unadulterated freedom of expression. The sound is always passionate and authentic and my views are relatable because it’s honestly my testimonials filled with both the good, bad, ugly as well as the triumphs and victories of the journey.
Did you have a specific idea in mind of you who hoped this song would resonate with the most?
The specific idea was honestly everybody all walks of life, all age groups, and ethicists no boundaries because we all have and or will love and live in serious relationships. And over amazing production and thought-provoking lyrics, the thought was to create a relatable contrast between sitcom relationships and real life
What do you hope listeners will take away from this song while listening?
I really want the listeners to jam, dance, and truly enjoy the sound as well really be encouraged and empowered and excited about Kingdom Marriage.
