We're so pleased with the passion and desire you've placed into your single, "Look What You Started (feat. pHoenix Pagliacci)." What inspired you to take on such a heated and sultry single?

Thank you so much! I wanted to do something a bit different from the typical love songs that I usually write. Something a bit rawer. I basically wanted a bedroom jam that would help people reconnect especially at a time when people seem so disconnected.

What pulled you towards the stylings of pHoenix Pagliacci for a feature on your single, "Look What You Started (feat. pHoenix Pagliacci)?" How did she fit the vibe you were looking for?

I've been wanting to collaborate with pHoenix for a while now as we've known each other for years. Based on her previous writing and knowing she wasn't afraid to push the boundaries with her lyricism, I knew she'd be able to do the song justice. She fit the vibe because of her tonal quality, harmonies, and the overall perspective she brought to the song.

Did you and pHoenix Pagliacci write your lyrics/bars together for "Look What You Started (feat. pHoenix Pagliacci)?" Or did you work separately on this process?

I already had a working idea for the song. The chorus, first verse, and bridge were already written when I asked her to hop on the track. She then added her verse and dropped that beautiful change-up in the break and the rest is herstory.

Seeing as it's been over a year since your last feature with us, could you fill us in on what's been keeping you busy during these times?

Sure! It seems like Covid is the gift that keeps on giving, so unfortunately a lot of my musical endeavors ground to a halt. I did however continue songwriting and have been reaching out to artists regarding future collaborations. I've also been working on my music production and playing skills. I was recently on a YouTube show put on by Indie fish TV which showcases indie artists covering other indie artists. Other than that I've just been working as an essential worker and making sure to focus on self-care.

What's next for you?

I'm looking forward to doing quite a few more collaborations. I’m also looking forward to performing some oldies covers as part of an initiative called ‘Songs For Seniors’ put on by Waveland, that’s taking place at the end of April.
