The production was especially relaxing with its modern collection of vibe-worthy synths. Did you work with a producer for this particular song or had you produced "Days 'N' Nights" yourself? Well first I would like to thank you for the kind words on my music, secondly, I did not work on this song with a producer, back in 2018 I made a song called “MVP” receiving over 150,000 streams across all streaming platforms; the producer that also produced my latest single “Days “N” Nights.” “Jacob lethal” is a very popular beatmaker, with different styles of creating beats, & every once in a while I check his BeatStars to see his latest uploads, luckily I came off this beautiful beat that just spoke to me, the words were just flowing out, almost like this feeling of relentless, hunger to be greater in life.
What drew you to the content covered within "Days 'N' Nights?" How do you often go about choosing the topic your songs focus on?
Well, there’s a lot going on in my head, a tiny voice always talking to me even tho my mouth isn’t saying a word, I guess subconsciously I wrote: “Days “N” Nights” for the ones with a particular path as me, dreamers, the ones who wish to be great, so we do things that other will not, as in paying the price, or rolling the dice of life, to be more than just a somebody, to be a someone and leave a bigger footprint of your life on earth. As far as topics go, it all depend on whatever I wish to speak on, one thing about being an artist is that you can truly speak your mind as long as you can fit it on a beat, & with 7b people in the world they're gonna be at least a few that will enjoy your music as much as you do, so I ultimately, I just do what I like to makes me happy, and if it makes others happy then I have served my purpose as an artist of this generation.
Is there a specific audience you attempt to resonate with most whilst constructing the narratives of your songs? Was there an inherent audience that "Days 'N' Nights" is projected towards?
The audience for this song is anyone who can relate to it, anyone putting in those extra hours that feel drained, I’m the voice in your head you can put on to give you the motivation to keep going and believe in yourself. We live in a time where anything is possible, especially with the internet, it’s like the galaxy a new star is being born each day, and you can be one of them as long as you stay consistent and put out your best, it may be a long journey, so buckle up, put on “days ‘n” nights” and just keep it moving, because surely enough you’ll find what you’re looking for if you never stop searching for it.
How are you feeling about the overall product of "Days 'N' Nights?" Would you say the creative vision remained consistent throughout the entire process of generating the song?
Well, it could’ve won a Grammy and been charted on the billboards if I had a record label team and talented audio engineers behind it, unfortunately, I’m just a one-man-band with a MacBook, and the will to be great at my craft. So I do almost everything I can to put out the best, I wrote this song in 2 hours, recorded it. Mixed it, & mastered it with in the next 3-4 hours. The vision was to challenge me to make this song within the session I was locked in, mainly to get the most of the creative juices I had flowing at that time, I liked the song a lot for just being a random freestyle I had decided to do.
What's next for you? To keep working, staying consistent, & networking with the right people to get me to the right doors and to the right ears, with the right team behind me I can be a worldwide sensation, it’s just a matter of when and how. I’m a very in the moment person, I don’t really worry too much about the past because it’s already done and there is not much you can do about that, and I don’t worry too much about the future because it’s never for certain, so I focus on the now, because what you do today, creates a ripple effect of what happens in 5-10 years, sometimes even longer. I plan on putting out more quality music to receive a higher quality of life in the future.
