From Asbury Park, New Jersey, Where’s Tino is an alternative rock band . Its members include Mike Boylan (vocals/guitar),Jenn Wolff (vocals key/synth), Jake Reid (drums), Scott Rescigno (bass) and Kevin Mullahy (lead guitar). The alternative rock group will be going back in the studio later this year.
A bop right from the start, from the chill vibes to the catchy tune of the synth keys. A cool laid back tune that will get you in a feel good mood and you might get a hint of nostalgia. It has a cool and collective mash up of 80’s pop meets alternative rock. Along with the song is none other than a very quirky music video that adds to the nostalgic feel of the song. All musicians really pull in the song together from its quirky alternative sounding vocals with that innocent message of “I wish I had her” to the synth keys swirling around through your head to ultimately become something you can’t forget. Make sure to watch their music video for the full Where’s Tino Experience and put this in your top hits playlist!

Where’s Tino took shape almost two years ago in a small town on the Jersey shore right near Asbury Park. It started out of a mutual love and respect for 90’s alternative music, but has grown to include an 80’s synth rock vibe with pop style hooks. The band includes Mike Boylan on vocals and guitar, Jenn Wolff on vocals and keys, Jake Reid on drums, Scott Rescigno on bass and Kevin Mullahy on lead guitar.
We really like your new song! Can you tell us a bit about the song and the writing style behind it?
The Girl from Bangs Avenue is a song about a typical hipster girl from Asbury Park, NJ. She loves to flirt then let you know that she’s got better places to be. The song has the style of a Matthew Sweet 90’s hook that you can’t get out of your head. You can hang in Asbury Park any night and you will run into the girl from Bangs avenue at any bar. The song has the perfect mix of catchy chords and a synth hook that you will be humming all day.
