About BUZZMUSIC

BUZZMUSIC wasn’t born in a boardroom; it was born in a high school hallway, MySpace messages, bloody bathroom floors, and sold-out basement shows we weren’t supposed to pull off. We’re not a media brand that came up through the system; we’re a reaction to it.

Founded by two lifelong best friends, BUZZMUSIC started as a one-night-only birthday show. Two girls, no industry contacts, just $10 tickets and a line around the block. That show turned into a scene. The scene turned into a movement. And the movement turned into a mission with a one-way ticket to LA in 2018. The outcome? A promise to protect independent artists and give them the kind of spotlight they deserve, without compromise.

We were never industry-approved. We’re self-made. We’ve faced bullying, lawsuits, label politics, and industry gatekeeping, but we’ve never backed down. BUZZMUSIC exists because the music business didn’t know what to do with girls like us. So we built our own platform. One that doesn’t just highlight talent, but fights for it.

Today, BUZZMUSIC is more than a blog. It’s a cultural voice, an artist incubator, and a launchpad for the next generation of creatives who refuse to play by outdated rules.

We’ve spent the last few years building the foundation by quietly growing our community, sharpening our voice, and creating something real. Now, we’re ready to be loud about it.

Music saved our lives. Now, we’re coming for justice for yours.
