Welcome to BuzzMusic Angel Dweh, and congratulations on your latest release, "Pepper Dem." Can you start by telling our readers a bit about your musical influences that have shaped your sound?

First, thank you for having me BuzzMusic. Some of my musical influences are James Brown, Diamond Platnumz, Yemi Alade, Usher, Ne-Yo, and many more.

What's it like growing up as a Liberian -American artist?

Growing up as a Liberian-American artist is beautiful because I have the opportunity to experience both cultures and be inspired by them.

What's the best advice you've ever been given about making music?

The best advice I have received is to be true to myself. This means being authentic to my work, my art, and to the message in my music. And not allowing negative things in my space.

What do you hope people take away from your music?

My hope is for people to be inspired by my music. I want them to have a feeling of self-confidence and for them to feel better about who they are and where they are from. I want them to know that it is ok to get in your Boss mode and speak what is on your mind without them feeling that they are being too narcissistic. Throughout my life, I was taught to speak my mind and be bold, and know there is power within the writing. Now I can write songs and create music that will uplift others and myself through Afrobeats and Bongo Flava and be an inspiration to others.

What's next for you? Next for me are live performances and creating more music with my team Lake Village Music, LLC., focusing on my fans and rebuilding my brand here in the United States and other countries. I am also networking with producers in Nigeria and Tanzania. I am in contact with these producers about working on new music with them.
