Welcome to Buzz, Steven! We are so impressed by the inspirational and meditative nature of your recent project, Performance Hypnosis. What inspired you to create this particular project?


Performance Hypnosis was born out of a deep understanding of, and concern for, the overwhelming stress and anxiety many people face in today's high-pressure, fast-paced world. With constant connection and distractions from our modern world of technology and phones, it's easy to feel inundated and unable to find moments of peace. I wanted to offer a solution that could provide relief and help individuals tap into their inner calm and focus to live their best lives.


The inspiration for this project stemmed from my own rising levels of distraction, stress, and overwhelm, as well as witnessing the struggles of those around me. I saw a need for a tool that could help people break through personal barriers, reduce their stress levels, and enhance their performance in various aspects of life, whether in work, sports, academics, or personal endeavors.


Personal Experience with Hypnosis: My path took a significant turn during my time as a high-level collegiate athlete when I suffered a potentially career-ending injury. After recovering from the physical aspects of my injury, I found that my mind was still holding me back due to fear of re-injury. During that time, I was introduced to hypnosis, which quickly allowed me to let go of my fear and trust in myself and instill the confidence I needed to return to competition successfully.

Years later, I use Performance Hypnosis with my clients from all walks of life to help them break through personal barriers and unlock their full potential.

Through Performance Hypnosis, I aim to empower individuals to take control of their mental and emotional well-being. By combining elements of mindfulness, meditation, and hypnosis, I offer a unique approach that allows individuals, through the brain's neuroplasticity, to reprogram their subconscious minds for success and resilience.


In today's hectic world, it's more important than ever to prioritize mental health and find ways to cultivate inner peace. Performance Hypnosis is my contribution to this cause, and I'm honored to share it with the world.


How has guided meditation and hypnosis benefited you, and what do you think listeners could benefit most from hearing Performance Hypnosis?


Guided meditation and hypnosis have been transformative for me personally, offering profound benefits in various aspects of my life. These practices have given me valuable tools for increasing confidence, managing stress, recovering mentally and physically, enhancing focus, and being more creative. Through guided meditation and hypnosis, I've learned to quiet my mind and cultivate a sense of inner calm amidst the chaos of daily life, allowing me to be more present and engaged in life. In addition, when needed, it has helped me navigate challenging situations with greater clarity and resilience.

What did the behind-the-scenes process look like for Performance Hypnosis? Did you write your own words, and who helped you put together the calming background music?


I carefully crafted each track in the Performance Hypnosis series using a personalized approach for each track’s area of focus. Each word was chosen to effectively engage and stimulate the listener’s subconscious mind for optimal impact. This involved selecting words and phrases that not only convey clear messages but also trigger deep cognitive and emotional responses conducive to learning and personal development.


To enhance the hypnotic effect of the spoken words, I engaged in extensive research to find compositions crafted to target specific brainwave states associated with creativity, meditation, and deep relaxation. This background music features binaural beats, a soundwave therapy technique where two slightly different frequency tones are played in each ear, processed by the brain as a single tone. This auditory illusion influences brainwave patterns, promoting relaxation, focus, and deeper subconscious access. I collaborated with sound engineers specialized in creating therapeutic audio environments, whose expertise ensured that the audio quality and effectiveness of the binaural beats were maintained at optimal levels.


Which track from the Performance Hypnosis series do you feel is the most impactful, and why? Which track stands out to you in that regard?


Each track has its own powerful intention and purpose behind it, with the "Focus." track being one of my favorites. In today's hyper-connected, distracted, phone-obsessed society, harnessing your focus is crucial. Specifically engineered to enhance focus and facilitate peak performance, this track greatly impacts individuals across various fields. In a world that never slows down, filled with constant notifications and multitasking, the profound purpose and impact of the Focus track are essential for navigating life and being fully present. Ultimately, cultivating focus is the key to living a fulfilling, balanced life. It allows us to create and cherish memorable experiences that truly matter.


The “Focus” track guides listeners into a profound state of concentrated focus, free from external and internal distractions. The track uses soothing sounds paired with targeted guided suggestions that encourage the subconscious mind to absorb positive affirmations, effectively rewiring the brain's neural pathways for enhanced concentration and mental clarity. Ideal for students, professionals, athletes, and creatives, the "Focus" track is designed to unlock a listener’s untapped potential, enabling more precise and efficient task completion. This makes it an essential tool for anyone looking to elevate their productivity and achieve peak performance.


What do you hope listeners feel or take away after hearing Performance Hypnosis? What was your ultimate goal with this project?


My goal with Performance Hypnosis is to empower listeners to transform their lives from within. After experiencing these sessions, I hope listeners feel a profound sense of inner peace, clarity, and empowerment. I want them to recognize the incredible potential within their minds and realize that they have the power to create positive change in their lives.


I want listeners to walk away with renewed confidence, resilience, and self-belief. Whether they seek to reduce stress, enhance performance, overcome obstacles, or achieve personal growth, I aim for Performance Hypnosis to serve as a catalyst for their success.
