Arising Sons are the Rock band out of Grand Rapids MI. that is heavily influenced by a love for Jesus. They have worked very hard to create their own unique sound, which can be heard with their new single and video for, “Love Is Coming Down”. It's the first single off of their forthcoming full-length release.
Lead singer and guitar, Brett Mezey says, “You have never heard a song about Zacchaeus like this before. “Love Is Coming Down” is a song inspired by the story of Zacchaeus who climbed a tree to see Jesus as he was walking by. As Jesus walked by, he asked Zacchaeus to come down from that tree and went to his home. Just as Jesus called to him, he has also called to me. Love came down from heaven in Jesus and the world has never been the same.”
Mezey estimates that he has over 1,000 songs and has been writing completed musical compositions for over 20 years now. He has grown in his ability to write music and has also spent a lot of time considering how to write good songs as he wants to continually grow in his writing abilities. Brett says, “I hope that the music I have to offer to the world is received as a blessing."
