Allanah Jeffreys is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She uncovered her passion for music at an early age and has been performing since she was 6 years old. Allanah’s love for music spans many genres, which shows in her versatility live. Her live performances can be described as energetic, engaging and personable, capturing the hearts of many fans, young and old. Allanah’s favorite artists include, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Greta Van Fleet, Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran. Her dream is to pursue music and to continue writing songs that others can relate to.
Allanah’s brand new single “Loyalty” is a song about not letting someone take advantage of your kindness. It’s about respecting yourself and not letting others disrespect your friendship. Allanah is confident, empowering and so inspiring for young women all over the world. The melodies that Allanah delivers throughout “Loyalty” capture her dominance as vocalist and songwriter. She wraps her delivery around the sweet anticipation as she hits the big notes on the chorus, it’s completely tantalising and mesmerizing. Structurally the song has a lot going for it. The verses pull you in well, the hook holds your attention, melodically and rhythmically brilliant. Allanah Jeffreys has utilised her own creativity in more ways than one. Not only are the musical performances all well executed and all doused in just a little bit of personality, but there’s also originality in the way the song itself develops and changes.

Welcome to BuzzMusic Allanah Jeffreys! What prompted you to first start recording your music?
Well I’ve always loved performing and connecting with people through live performances, but I wanted to show more of me. Writing and recording my own songs gives me the opportunity to share my music with a bigger audience.
How do you get started when writing a new song?
The process can vary but I mostly start by having an idea that I feel passionate about. Sometimes a melody comes first and other times a lyric.
We love “Loyalty”! It’s very powerful, How did you write this song, and what does it mean to you?
I’ve always been the type of person that would treat everyone nice, even if they weren’t nice to me. I try to see the good in people and I give them second chances. Loyalty is a song about not letting someone take advantage of your kindness. If people don’t treat you with respect then they don’t deserve your friendship. This song talks about standing up against those people, and showing them that you can fight back.
Who or what would you say inspires you the most to pursue and put your time and passion into music?
Music has always been a big part of my life since I was little. Music has helped me through many hard times, and always lightens up my mood. I come from a very musical family which has inspired me to do music myself. Ever since I’ve started performing I’ve loved it so much. I know how powerful music can be, and how important it can be in people’s lives. Music allows me to express myself, and get important words, and messages out to people through a form that is stronger than just words.
What’s next for you?
I am currently performing some live shows and I am also in talks about shooting a music video for “Loyalty”. In the fall I will be releasing another single, which I am super excited about!!
