Welcome back to BuzzMusic S.FOREVER! It’s such a pleasure to be chatting with you again.

"Sage and Versace" is the perfect track to open up your recent “Legendary” EP. Where did you draw inspiration for this particular track?

That song literally came from 3 elements.. the Sage I was burning before my session, the Versace cologne I was wearing and my own personal frustrations with where I was versus where I felt I should be in regards to my place in Music. I had been doing a lot of meditating and felt like nothing was working for me. Nipsey Hussle had passed the week before so I was in a very aggressive and dark place with Hip Hop and decided to record just to create and that's where the moment took me.

“Hollywood” is a great new track but it seems to have a meaningful message behind the lyrics. Can you tell us more about your most recent release?

First thing, a Big Shout out to my label mate JESS for blessing me with that hook ( Please don't edit my shout out) I wanted to make a song that had a pop vibe but was, in fact, the polar opposite once a person really digested the content. The 2 verses are direct contradictions of one another

which is how I feel at times. The first verse is more of who I am, a gritty and sometimes impulsive man who could care less what anybody thinks, the second verse being who I strive to be, a more polished and wise version of a former street guy who now understands the nature of his dreams and why he pursues them.

Since you’ve been making music for several years, how would you compare some of the earlier material you’ve written to your newest release?

I used to create my music from the outside looking in now I create from the inside looking out, I really hope that makes sense, to expand a bit, basically, in the past I made songs with the intention of showing everyone how great I was at making songs, which made for great music but it was missing that one thing that connects with people and truly separates any great artist from the pack, simply put it was missing ME.

Since your debut music video garnered an incredible amount of success, do you have plans to drop another video for any of your new tracks?

Yeah, I'll be doing a video for Wax On, which to date is my most successful song monetarily. People seem to really love it and its well over 100k spins on Pandora I will be shooting for a spring 2020 release.

How have you honed your songwriting style over time, and what do you think are the main qualities that make a song truly connect and last in the long-run?

I treat every song like it's the one that's going to get me rich and famous, what makes it connect and last in the long run?, I honestly still haven't figured that out yet, but when I do, I promised Hip Hop will be changed Forever, All pun intended!

Thank you so much for chatting with us. What can you tell us about your much-anticipated debut album “GOD LEVEL”?

I envision My Debut Album as a masterpiece, a complete body of work that will showcase my creativity and style as well as catapulting me into the stratosphere, hence the name God Level. That's it! Thank you BuzzMusic for always supporting my music.
