Craymo Releases Throwback-style Dance-Pop Song “Give Me Your Love”

From upstate New York, Craymo is an artist who now resides in Orlando, Florida where he writes and sings alternative pop-rock music.

His mission is to use his platform as an artist to make the world a better place. Having already reached a vast array of fans by winning countless international music awards, and even hitting #1 on the Euro Indie Music Top 200 Chart, he aims to increase his fan base as he continues to release music.

His new song “Give Me Your Love” is a track from his most recent EP “Love Power.” Craymo’s musical inspirations include all-time stars from decades past such as David Bowie, Duran Duran, George Michael, Robbie Williams, The Beatles, Morrissey, Madonna, and Elton John. He translates the 70s and 80s style, electronic music into his own songs.

“Give Me Your Love” has a pounding beat throughout the track and builds into a higher energy chorus. Craymo’s auto-tuned vocals match “Give Me Your Love’s” electronically styled soundscape.

Craymo’s seductive lyrics are extremely repetitive and include colorful and descriptive words such as “synchronicity.” As a whole, “Give Me Your Love” has the right bpm and uplifting melody to be the soundtrack to a step or spin class. It’s the type of song that could accompany a workout video consisting of people with neon clothes, leg warmers, and headbands. Craymo takes fans back to the past with “Give Me Your Love’s” quick beat, catchy melody, and electro-pop music style.

Could you describe the creative process and songwriting process of “Give Me Your Love?”

Give Me Your Love started out as an instrumental idea my producer David Sivano sent to me. I was inspired to write the melody and lyrics, I am really good with writing top lines and melodies!  David is originally from Sweden so he has a distinct sound and style to his productions!

We know that you are a successful artist who has won countless awards over the years! Could you name a few and what it meant to you?

I have been very fortunate the last few years winning several awards for my songs and songwriting, most recently Give Me Your Love won Best EDM/Dance Recording in the 2020 Indie Music Channel Awards which I am very excited about! My song One Love One World, a song for equality, human rights, and peace, won Best Song in the Hollywood Spiritual Film Festival and the music video won Best Video in the Worldwide Music Contest, those awards are very dear to me because it's a song for social change and making the world a better place.  I am a member of the International Singer-Songwriter Association (ISSA). I was honored to be named a Finalist for US Male Songwriter of The Year in the 2020 ISSA Awards which I am very proud of and very humbled. I have to say the most special award(s) I have ever received was for December Rain (Carol Of Love), a song I released in loving memory of my Mom who recently passed away.    It won Best Rock Song, Fall 2019 Clouzine International Music Awards, and Best Alternative Video, 2019 Indie Music Channel Awards.  She is smiling down on me for sure! Being nominated for an award is a great honor especially when you are competing with artists from all over the world. Winning the award, that's the icing on the cake!  It's nice that my hard work and talent are finally being recognized after many years in the music business. It makes me smile!

When did you begin your career as an artist, and how did you know it was the path for you?

I have always known! Music has been my passion my whole life. I wrote my first song when I was sixteen years old and I am still writing in my 50's. I don't know where I would be in my life without music, it's in my soul, it's a very special part of me.

Can you tell fans how “Give Me Your Love” compares to the other songs from your EP “Love Power?”

My EP Love Power is all songs about love, whether it be self-love "Be Myself," relationships "Love You More," unconditional love of your parents "December Rain (Carol of Love) for my late mother and "Take It Slow (Gotta Say Hey)" for my late father, and leading it all off is "Give Me Your Love" a song about having a crush on someone who has a beautiful smile that makes you melt!  There is nothing more powerful than the power of love and the world needs more of it, especially now.

What can we expect to see next from you?

I am currently working an idea of doing a cover album or EP (not sure yet!) of songs originally recorded by women sung from a gay man's point of view! It should be fun! I also have some possible Film/TV placements in the works for my music, stay tuned.
