He has a wide variety of musical influences thanks to his obsessive listening to commercial cassette tapes on his Sony Walkman. Josh Silver relocated to Nashville in 2004 in order to attend SAE and seek a degree in audio engineering. Since then, he has played in a number of bands over the years and worked in and out of studios.
Demanon is focused on developing a distinctive alternative rock style and has six tracks ready for release in 2022. The remainder of Josh's full-length album, which is expected to be released in early to mid-2023, is currently being produced.

Welcome to BuzzMusic Demanon, and congratulations on your latest single, "Like a Fire." What are the three things that fuel your creativity the most?
First and foremost, life experiences. Whether it be a breakup when I married my wife, to losing my mom to cancer, the weather has also always had an effect on how I write. It can be raining out, but I want to write a happy song; that song will be slower due to the weather. And last but not least, coffee!
What is something you need by your side to create incredible music? latest
As long as I have my guitar, bass, or piano, I’m good at writing.
What was the main source of inspiration for "Like a Fire?"
Well, the single before “Like a Fire” was “So Deadly,” which is about past relationships. After I had recorded So Deadly, I played it for friends and family, and everyone was like this is great, then would get really quiet then ask if everything was alright with my wife and me. I would then tell them that it was a song about ex’s/past relationships. So after that, I was like, I guess I need to write a love song. So, “Like a Fire” is about me and my Wife.
What are your musical references prevalent in "Like a Fire?"
I got a lot of inspiration from the artist Two Feet and Bishop Briggs for “Like a Fire.”
What's next for you Demanon?
My producer and I are working on the rest of the full-length album, which is slated for a St. Patty's day release next year. The next single, “One In The Same,” comes out mid-October, which will be the last release for the year.
