Emuell Tedford, the composer, music director, and pianist from Detroit, MI., creates stunning original music with his mix of jazz, pop, and R&B. His new single, "Incredible Girl" out now, is no exception. It's from his forthcoming album Keynotes of Emuell, which allows you to journey back to an era that placed a premium on instrumental musicianship.
Tedford says, "Incredible Girl" was written after watching my incredible girl operate throughout life on a daily basis. I started to journal her daily tasks and begin to say, wow this woman is incredible! I then began to think about my Mother and all of the incredible women around the world, as they carry the weight of life on their shoulders."
Tedford’s musical journey began with the gifting an upright piano from his parents when he was only 5-years-old. This helped him develop a passion for music that eventually grew the piano playing preschooler into a teenage phenom. "Incredible Girl" was produced Emuell Tedford and co-produced by Grammy Award-winning Producer/Engineer Chuck Alkazian (Pop Evil, Soundgarden, Tantric) at legendary Pearl Sound Studios (Asking Alexandria, Eminem, Filter).
