Welcome to the BuzzMusic community! Congratulations on your latest track "Stay In My Lane". How did the overall creation process go for this song?
We wanted to create a song that was going to allow people from all walks of life to connect with the music and lyrics and speak to them in a way that would make the listener press repeat. Once production for the track was finished and sent over, I began to vibe out on the beat and kept returning to the concept of just "staying in my lane" and describing what that means in different life situations. I felt like this song needed a featured artist who would add to the song's success, so I knew that featuring Carlos Corleone would be a great fit.
We're so excited to be featuring your track "Stay In My Lane". We definitely sense that old-school flair you bring to a more contemporary hip/hop style. Where do you find your inspiration to curate tracks with such originality?
I'm a student of the game. Growing up, my producer and I were inspired by great music, and dedicated to our craft, we knew that given our opportunity, we would contribute incredible art, relevant in today's music landscape.
What would you say is the most impactful takeaway message from "Stay In My Lane"? Do you feel like you're able to connect with your listeners on that deeper level?
The title says it all. Basically, its' message is to not worry or be concerned about what other people are doing. If you have a mission to fulfill, stay focused on the grind, don't get sidetracked, it will only slow you down. When people hear the song, they automatically sense that genuineness and emotion, and then boom, the connection manifests.
How would you describe the music scene for your particular genre in Houston? Do you believe that you can fully develop your sound in your current city?
I consider myself a Texas artist. I'm from Corpus Christi but now reside in Houston. So I'm naturally representing a wide spectrum. The music scene in Houston is amazing. There are so many artists creating great music. Lots of diversity, artists across different eras of music collaborate and learn from each other, it's what keep things moving forward in a positive, meaningful way.

Currently, we are in full promotion mode for "Stay In My Lane," we just released the single on all platforms and is doing tremendous. The official video will be dropping any day now, so we'll stay busy making sure the world hears what we're bringing to the table. My next show in Houston will be Nov. 23rd with Point Blank of (S.P.C./S.U.C.) We'll also be releasing upcoming songs featuring Glasses Malone, Willie D of The Geto Boys, Caroline Rodriguez, as we roll out the new project.
