Welcome to BuzzMusic, FireBug, and congratulations on your new single “No Return.” Can you tell us a bit more about the inspiration behind your lyrics in the song?

First of all, Happy New Year thanks so much for your kind words and for having us! I was thinking about historical events and how they relate to our current time with regard to the human experience and condition. There is a constant need for exploration and moving forward; this is something that appears to be absolutely no matter what decade or century we find ourselves in.

We are extremely impressed with your ability to infuse older elements of Classic Rock/Psychedelic Rock and Blues into your music, while still managing to create something so fresh and new sounding. Who have been your biggest inspirations while creating your own music?

All of the people that we have met along the way have influenced us in some facet of fashion. Some of them have been teachers, friends, fellow musicians, family, and gurus. Some even have 4 legs like our dog Virigil!

Did you have a specific idea in mind of you who hoped this song would resonate with the most?

No, not really. We are just hoping to resonate with as many people as possible in a way that is uplifting and positive.

What do you hope listeners will take away from this song while listening?

We hope that it takes them on a journey into a place of their choosing, if only for a few minutes.

We can’t wait to hear what you bring to the table with your full-length album that comes out in March 2022. Can you shed a bit of light on what listeners might be able to expect from the album?

There is a bit more of a blend of psychedelia and blues and even some folk elements are thrown into the mix. We have put in some unexpected twists and turns. This new record will be full of surprises, we are really excited about what we have accomplished. We continue to grow as artists and we hope people will hear that on our new record!

What's next for you?

Continued growth and more new music!
