Do you need to be in a certain mood to write?
Usually, yes. Sometimes I will push myself when I'm not feeling it and it can come out well but usually, I like to be in a creative mood for my best work.
How do you know what a song is finished?
I am really not a perfectionist unless it comes to my music. I've tried to get better about this but usually, I let a few people close to me take a listen and if they don't hear anything crazy, I'm usually good to finish it up!
What is the most meaningful song/album you have ever written?
I would say my song "Take a Shot." It was the first time I opened up about having anxiety. I've come a long way since first being diagnosed but it was my most vulnerable song to date. So many people seemed to relate to it and have appreciated me opening up.
How does the vibe of an audience affect your performance?
I can't say it doesn't but you always have to BRING IT! You never know who is in that audience.
What is your most memorable interaction with a fan?
When one of my fan's parents asked me to perform at their daughter's birthday party and surprise her. It was the cutest thing! We had a blast!
What is something most people don't know about you?
I'm obsessed with thrift shopping! Big bargain shopper lol.
