GR3YWXLF Returns With Exceptional New Single "Xmas@Thewxlves"

GR3YWXLF, the Jamaican born London native brings a unique style to the conventional UK hip-hop genre. GR3YWXLF has been diligently carving his own signature sound into the woodwork by spending all of 2019 crafting and delivering new songs like this. He specializes in villainy, poetic musings and ranging flows, which display his range as more than a rapper; he is an abstract life narrator. His new song "Xmas@theWxlves" could be compared to artists like Childish Gambino, MF Doom and Chance the Rapper. The song has a delicate piano melody in the background, combined with a gentle beat. To top it off, GR3YWXLF raps with an English accent, making his smooth and slightly hoarse voice even more alluring. The combination of these qualities making the song both bold and relaxing at the same time.

GR3YWXLF has been working tirelessly to drop multiple songs this year, and with each release, he is further solidifying his place in the alternative hip-hop lane. It is invigorating to hear an artist that has such a one-of-a-kind music style, and it can certainly be said that we want more! Put those headphones on and crank up the volume because you’re going to want to listen to this one on repeat. Listen to "Xmas@theWxlves" here

Welcome to BuzzMusic GR3YWXLF, we’re very excited to have you! Can you tell us about your intentions when crafting the new song “Xmas@theWxlves”?

Yo! Thanks for having me back again. With this new song, I just wanted to create something a little different and experimental. More so with the holiday season upon us and the year fast closing, I figured it would be a good opportunity to end on a fun, unique note.

You’ve been working hard to release multiple songs this year! Can you tell us where this motivation and inspiration come from?

It has been a busy year for real, I think I'm sitting on 13 releases at the moment which looking back seems wild especially when doing everything on my own. Motivation wise I told myself when 2019 began I'd go hard in the paint with it so that in turn has kept me inspired throughout. Getting a look in from yourself and other publications has also really helped with the grind too.

Who is your biggest influence musically? How do they influence your music specifically?

I'm into a lot of different types of music so I'd be citing artists till the cows come home. Rather than having just one big influence though it's more the culmination of many smaller influences. Being big on authenticity I really dig artists like Mac Miller (rest in peace), SZA, SiR and Childish Gambino to name a few. So I guess this has meant that I'm naturally drawn to making music that's grounded and personable.

What are some of your major goals as an artist? How are you working towards achieving these?

Man, I just want to make stuff that people can vibe with, songs for various moods and all that. As an independent artist, it's really easy to have all these lofty dreams but honestly, I'd just love to hear my drops on TV, maybe a tour or something that would also be pretty cool.

We enjoyed having you here on BuzzMusic! Could you tell us more about what’s we can look for next from you? Great question. I'm still working out where I'm heading next with it all but aiming to continue with frequent single releases, that and perhaps an EP. Either way, I'll keep you in the loop as you have blessed me with some dope support and I'm really grateful for that!
