Phoenix's best-kept modern rock secret strikes again with vocals that demand your attention and guitar riffs that speak to your soul.
Hailing from Phoenix, AZ, Jane N' The Jungle is a modern rock band that separates itself from its peers through distinct, instantly recognizable vocals and breathtaking guitar play. Composed of vocalist extraordinaire Jordan White and the eclectic and supremely talented Brian Dellis on guitars, Jane N' The Jungle have captivated audiences with their fusion of alternative rock, metal, and punk, balancing the competing sounds in a way that somehow feels raw yet graceful and melodic.
Following the success and critical reception of their previous single, "Raw as a Jewel," released last year, "Wasteland" firmly solidifies Jane N' The Jungle's status as a rising act to watch. They have also garnered substantial support from established media and musical publications such as MTV, Spankin' New, and Spotify, showcasing a rare ability to capture the hearts of both average listeners and executives.
"Wasteland" is a testament to Jane N' The Jungle's sophisticated and captivating musical vision. While delving into the ever-significant realm of toxicity and relationships, Jordan White's clear and resolute vocals sharply contrast raging instrumentals and Brian Dellis's exquisite guitar accompaniment. While dropping lyrics like "Act you like you mean it / Don't leave me hanging like you don't understand," Jane N' The Jungle's vocal and instrumental performance blend perfectly, immersing you in their soundscape.
With their unique sound and undeniable talent, Jane N' The Jungle seemed primed for a breakout year. Whenever you're ready, tap in and stream their new single, "Wasteland," available now on all major streaming platforms.
Welcome to BuzzMusic, Jane N’ The Jungle! We loved “Wasteland;" what a performance! The vocals felt clear and distinct, and the instrumentals felt like a different entity, yet they came together so perfectly! We had to ask, what was the creative process for this song like, and what was your favorite part about making it?
Thank you so much for all the love and support for our new single, “Wasteland.” We started the creative process in Phoenix, AZ, at our studio and worked on several demos developing the song and vibe at Cosmic Soup Studios. Then we recorded the song with Chuck Alkazian at Pearl Sound Studios in Canton, MI. The whole process, from start to finish, is exciting, and hard to pick a favorite. I went back and forth with many different lyrics, and it felt so good when finally, the song lyrically came together.
We love your band name! Can you tell us the origin story of “Jane N’ The Jungle?" How did you decide on the band name, and how did you come together?
Ahh, thank you! I’m so glad you like it! We all thought the name was great after hearing a few people tell me at shows that I reminded them of a Jane in the Jungle-type character on stage, quiet and fierce. The name stuck, and that’s how it came to be.
Thus far, what has been your favorite part about making music in general?
Hmm, probably at the very start when the vibe and story start to develop, and you can mold the song in the development stage.
What do you hope to achieve with your music?
We hope to inspire and impact all those we can with our music and share a different musical perspective that makes us stand out lyrically and emotionally.
What’s next for Jane N’ The Jungle? Do you have anything you want to say to your fans?
We are excited to share more new music soon and to get on the road! Thank you for all your love and support. It means the world to us!
