Hi JoJo2amazing! Can you start by telling us how you picked your stage name?

Well for starters, my actual name is Joel.. So, JoJo2amazing is literally just a combination of what I've heard from as far back as high school. But the name was definitely heavily female oriented. And what I mean by that is how those names were given. In general Jojo is something I've heard from as far back as 8th grade. The baddies in the school used to called me this, so yeah..  I decided to run with it, but the "Amazing" part, Is actual a little more secular. In regards to a "thats what she said" type of way ;) Not to mention my boy / best friend, his stage name was "2fresh" so instead of just "2amazing" I went with "JoJo2amazing".. But for short, u can call me Joel, JoJo, or just 2amazing.. either or is fine.

Can you tell us about your writing process and where you find inspiration to write?

Since as long as I've known, I always had a love for English. I actual had dreams of being an English teacher in another alternate reality. But the love I had for writing was evident. I was the Class Clown back in the day, and always was super sarcastic.. I was that guy that would correct your grammar while you were mid speech. So I just found a way to actually utilize my love for the english language. As for my style of writing.. My writing style is heavily influenced by none other than Lil Wayne. I mean come on that man is a GOAT.. His rhyming schemes were always impeccable. I mean the way he would rhyme the middle word and last two words in every sentence was mind blowing. I don't want to give away the whole formula but man, the influence this one guy had on me musically is 2nd to none.

What are some challenges you’ve faced as an artist and how have you overcome them?

We all have obstacles we have to climb.. But I will just focus on one challenge any upcoming artist has to deal with. One challenge that I'm still struggling with to this date. And that is financial funding!!!!!! Do you know why there is this narrative that  "rappers sell drugs"? Its because 9 times out of 10. That rapper has come from a place of poverty, where all odds are stacked against him/her. Getting / finding a job is almost hopeless. Let alone finding one that allows you to take care of yourself and pay for your dreams is almost impossible. This is why most rappers end up doing what ever it takes to get the money for their dreams.. Because at the end of the day it all comes down to funding, and how you are using that funding to get further in your career. Remember "What you put in, is what you get out"

What are three things you’d love for the fans and readers to know about you?

1. I will bring generational change.. I am not just rapping to rap or for fun. I am doing it as a means to make the financial moves I have planned ahead.

     2. WE ARE ALL EQUAL

     3. I am not doing anything for me, I do everything for WE

For someone who has never seen your live performance, how would you describe yourself?

I can describe that with 2words.. STAGE PRESENCE. I'm actually not the type to move or dance around a lot. But just know, you don't need that to have stage presence. My role model in terms of performing is Jay-z. Talk about someone who doesn't move much but you feel every one of his performances. Sometimes less is more. But nonetheless regardless of how much motion is inputted or not. One thing is for certain.. I give my absolute all and you WILL FEEL EVERY SECOND OF THE PERFORMANCE. 100
