Los Angeles-based rockers Joshua & The Holy Rollers have released “What You Need”, the lead-off single from Patience, an all-new EP set to be released on December 6, 2019. The heavy-hitting new single is available on all streaming and digital music platforms. In support of the new release, the band will embark on a nationwide tour on November 30 opening for Hanson, the older brothers of Joshua & The Holy Rollers’ frontman Mac Hanson. The upcoming tour will be the first time all four Hanson brothers have toured together, and their first show since their performance at 2019's Hop Jam in Tulsa, OK.

"'What You Need" is about the ever-pervasive desire my entire generation has: to get famous, yet do none of the work. It’s a shot across the bow at entitlement in the social media era and every lucky kid with wealth, privilege, and connection trying to say they got it all by themselves," said Mac Hanson. "At the same time, it’s also a self-reflection on our own missteps. We’ve all met the person 'What You Need' talks about, and sometimes, we’ve met that person in ourselves. All of that, and a real good time getting loud and sweaty with a bit of rock and roll."

The new EP is titled Patience as a nod to the experience the band went through during the recording process. While tracking the album in Tulsa, OK in May 2019 the band experienced five intense storms that produced 9 tornadoes over the course of 4 days. The rains were so heavy that the area experienced the worst flooding in history; water was released from the dam in the Arkansas River at the rate of 200,000 cubic feet per second to prevent it from breaking (for comparison, Niagara Falls flows at 212,000 cubic feet per second). Joshua & The Holy Rollers burst into the Los Angeles music scene in late 2018 by self-releasing 2 singles, their debut EP, and completing a tour of the west coast in the first 6 months. Rich with mellow vibes, big reverb, and gritty guitar riffs, Joshua & The Holy Rollers has a sound that is both familiar and unique, equal parts lullaby and banger.
