Kealo Rose Releases "SiN"

Kealo Rose is a recording artist from Orlando, Florida, originally from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. A self-described miracle baby, he had cancer from a young age, but is now thankfully cancer-free. He dropped out of college to travel the world and discover himself. He now resides in Atlanta, Georgia and is pursuing his dream as a recording artist. To Kealo Rose, music is an essentially therapeutic part of life. He has opened for 3 6 mafia with his brother at the House of Blues in Orlando. Kealo Rose’s personal goal is to be a better person today than he was yesterday, and to be an inspiration for the world through his music.

BuzzMusic presents a brand new single by Kealo Rose called “SiN”. This offering from a young Atlanta based artist showcases a variety of emotions. The themes range from pride, humility, positivity and perseverance. The vocals are delivered with sincerity, rhythm and confidence. The overall beat is well produced, and the piano used creates an eerie and solemn atmosphere. For a young artist, what is striking is that in just over two minutes, there is a great deal of emotional ground that is covered which shows that Kealo Rose is definitely in tune with himself and the world around him. With “SiN” as his new single, we can’t wait to see what this young Atlanta based artist dreams up for the future.

How did you first get involved with music, rapping, and writing?

I first got involved in music back in high school. A good friend of mine and my big brother introduced me to music. We would play around an make beats and try to freestyle back in 2005 - 2006 at a friends house. I started writing lyrics for my brothers first single and it kinda happened by mistake from freestyling. We constructed a song called " I got that juice" Performed our first show at the House of Blues in Orlando, fl as one of the opening performers for 3 6 Mafia. But my addiction for hip hop started before then. For my summer breaks my mom would send me to stay with my uncle up in  Bronx, NY almost every summer. My Uncle was a huge biggie smalls fan playing Biggie's album "ready to die" almost everytime we took a ride anywhere. This was my first introduction to hiphop. From there the rest is history.

Who would you say your biggest artistic influences are?

Starts from the soul music of James Brown, Michael Jackson on to Biggie Smalls, 2pac, Mac Miller, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar Chance the rapper, Wale, Tribe Called Quest, KRS--and the list goes on. But this list I would say is my main core of artistic influences.

Would you briefly describe what your writing process is like? How do your songs come together?

In order to write anything I have to be inspired by something. Inspiration can come from anywhere from a TV show a Movie a book a song a conversation an instrumental or a new life experience. Next step for me is the concept or Theme of the track. Deciding on if the track should be happy emotional fun and groovy. Next is choosing the right beat and listening for the right melody. Usually i write Hooks and Choruses first before I write lyrics. Then slowly but surely pieces of the song would start to fit together to a complete track.

What was the music scene like in Orlando compared to Atlanta, where you now reside?

The Orlando music scene is nothing compared to Atlanta. Orlando is more focused on Tourist and theme parks but Atlanta on the other hand eat sleep and breathe music. In my years in Orlando Ive never seen Billboards promoting Top Artist but in ATL its everywhere.

What can we hope to see from Kealo Rose in the future?

I have a lot of projects I've been working on. My new single "SiN" was released a couple of weeks ago and my mixtape called "roaches" will be released possibly next month. Also will be working on  my first Studio Album in the near future.
