Las Vegas Star Fendi Sean Releases “YEAH YEAH”

Sean Christian, better known as Fendi Sean, has been solidifying his place as a trumpeter in the city that never sleeps.

Initially, from the loud and glorious jazz mecca, New Orleans, it’s aligning that the trumpet is his instrument of choice, and the wild, flashy, vibrant, extravagant city of Las Vegas is the perfect place to display his talents.

Yes, we said talents with an S. It was meant to be plural. This Trumpeter has many gifts: singing, composing, producing, songwriting, and performing, to name a handful. He uses these skills to craft his music, bringing us to his latest single, “YEAH YEAH.”

The record encapsulates the fast life of Las Vegas, with a love story intertwined. With the hard-hitting R&B/Trap feels from the atmospheric instrumental, Fendi Sean does his thing and slides on it with his smooth vocals, soft tone, and crafty melodies. All these nifty elements coincide to bring the sexual tension to the pinnacle.

Although the lyrics aren’t erotic, they still leave the impression that the temperature rises between the woman in question and Fendi Sean, with lines like “…said she got a lady, Maybe she goes two way, Still texting’ my phone like all day”.

From the prestigious hotel residences such as Aria and the Cosmopolitan to the studio, the ability to weave between any musical genre with his voice and trumpet talents gives this multi-faceted star a unique and versatile sound.

Don’t miss his latest single, the tension-building, sin-city-inspired “Yeah Yeah,” out everywhere now.

Welcome to BuzzMusic Fendi Sean! Congratulations on the release of “YEAH YEAH.” The record seems to bring the fast life of Las Vegas to the forefront. How has the city that never sleeps influenced you as an artist?

The city influenced me a lot before I came to Vegas. I was a kid passionate about music education; I wanted to teach & be a band director. I came out here and saw all Vegas had to offer in entertainment, so that became my destiny.

Hailing from the Jazz Capital, New Orleans, when did you decide to pick up the trumpet?

I picked up the horn at 9 when I moved to Maryland after Katrina. It was more of a tribute to my city after what had happened.

How did your musical journey come about?

Once I got to Vegas and met my brothers, they showed me what I had inside of me all along.

Correct us if we’re wrong, but it sounds like a quiet trumpet sample is tucked into the back of “YEAH YEAH.” Was that your doing, and do you allow your trumpeting talents to shine through on your records?

Yes, that’s me playing the trumpet. I always want to showcase the horn in my music. Lately, I have been trying to make my voice the center of my music.

We see you appeared on Vice emphasizing your love for Vegas, exclaiming that the Jazz audience is continually growing. Can you juxtapose an R&B record like “YEAH YEAH” to unite the two worlds?

Yeah, I have. I love Jazz and always will; lately, I have just been listening to many R&B, like SiR and Don Toliver, so I have found sounds that’ll stand out.

Do you harbor some (healthy) hometown pride in bringing Jazz to the spotlight in Las Vegas?

I do show my hometown pride whenever I’m on stage. We stand out and show that we are here and ready to put on for the city.
