Congratulations on the release of “No Flash.” You carry such a strong presence in the way you represent yourself. We would love to know; what did the creative process looks like behind this song?
When I was making the beat I started writing the hook immediately, IN MY BEDROOM! I knew it was gonna be crazy.
What would you like listeners to take away from “No Flash?"
I want listeners to be able to physically feel a vibe that's not so familiar, a whole NEW WAVE! Something different but gas.
Did you begin your artistic journey as an artist or producer first? If you could only choose one for the rest of your life, which one would it be?
I never only did one. I always did both. Being a musician in the church since I was 8, kind of made making beats and rapping easy. Put it like this, the first time I made a beat I was freestyling while making it lol. If I could do one for the rest of my life I know I would be a producer.
Could you take us into what the studio session ambiance was like when recording “No Flash?"
I recorded it in Atlanta, GA. Took me about 15 minutes to finish it. When I'm in the studio Imma workaholic so we got straight to the music.
What has been keeping you inspired throughout 2020?
The support hands down! The progress throughout the process being recognized for all my hard work.
