Your EP HELLO, MY NAME IS, explores different sides of your identity. Was there a particular version of yourself that was the hardest to confront or express through music?


1000%. Writing 'people pleaser' felt like opening a diary I didn't even realize I had been keeping. It's the version of me that says "yes" when I want to say "no," the one who bends over backward to keep the peace even when it's at my own expense. I think confronting that was difficult because, in a way, I had convinced myself that version of me was necessary for survival. But making this EP was about breaking that mindset—about letting all these different versions of me take up space unapologetically. You get the reckless, in-love version in 'LOSER!', the nostalgic dreamer in 'U LIKE THAT,'' and the unbothered, don't-give-a-f *** attitude in 'SO FUCKING WHAT?'. But 'people pleaser'? That was me putting my foot down and saying, "I refuse to be that person anymore."


You've built a strong following through both your music and electrifying live performances. How do you translate the emotional depth of your songs into such high-energy stage moments?


Performing isn't just about singing a song—it's about becoming the song. When I play 'THIS IS THE END,' I'm not just performing it—I'm that person who just torched their past and is walking away in slow motion while everything burns behind them. When I play 'people pleaser,' I let myself feel the weight of that exhaustion so the crowd can feel it, too. And then there's 'LOSER!'—that one is just pure chaos, like I'm getting dragged through a whirlwind of falling way too hard, way too fast. I think the reason my live shows feel so intense is because I don't hold back. I let myself be completely unhinged in whatever emotion that song carries, and I think the audience can sense that.


The "Choose Your Fighter" concept for this EP is incredibly unique. Can you walk us through the inspiration behind it and how it reflects the themes of the project?


I grew up obsessed with video games—or at least, I would have been if I was actually allowed to play them. My parents weren't big on screens, so I spent most of my childhood watching other kids play and mentally assigning myself characters. Maybe that's why this idea stuck with me—there's something fascinating about how each fighter has their own story, strengths, and weaknesses, but at the end of the day, they're all different versions of a hero. That's what 'HELLO, MY NAME IS' felt like to me—like stepping into different parts of myself and seeing what they could do. So I built this world where every song is its own fighter: 'THIS IS THE END' is "The Independent," the one who refuses to look back. 'LOSER!' is "The Hopeful Romantic," hopelessly falling, even when they swore they wouldn't. 'people pleaser' is "The Giver," the one trying to keep everyone else happy. It's all these different versions of me, but in the end, they're all still me.


Your lead single, "LOSER!" has already made waves on international charts. How does it feel to see this kind of response, especially as an independent artist?


Honestly? It's f***ing wild. 'LOSER!' started as this sarcastic little song about falling so stupidly in love that you literally feel like a loser. I never expected it to take off like this. To see people across the world screaming the lyrics, making TikToks, turning it into their love song—it's unreal, especially as an independent artist, where every milestone feels like you clawed your way there. There's no label machine making this happen—it's just real people connecting with the song, and that means everything to me.


You've toured with artists like Echosmith, COIN, and Bryce Vine. How have these experiences shaped your perspective as an artist, and what do you hope to bring to your own future headlining shows?


Touring has been the best crash course on how to own a stage. COIN's energy is insane—they make every show feel like a stadium, no matter the size of the room. Bryce Vine's crowds know how to throw a party (I even remember him spraying water into the crowd just right so it's fun, but no one got soaking wet), and Echosmith brings this level of emotional connection that makes you feel like you belong there. What I've learned from all of them is that the best shows aren't just about sounding good—they're about making people feel something.


When I headline, I want it to feel like stepping into my brain for an hour—like you're not just at a concert, you're inside this chaotic, cinematic world where every song is a new scene. I want people screaming their lungs out to 'THIS IS THE END,' dancing like their life depends on it during 'SO FUCKING WHAT?', and then completely melting when we hit 'scared of the ground.' The best shows feel like therapy and a mosh pit at the same time—that's what I want to create.
