Hailing from the vibrant musical city of Barcelona in Spain, singer/songwriter, composer, and actor Meïa is an award-winning artist who first started making a name for herself in her home city of Barcelona.
Having moved to New York City in 2018, she’s continued to evolve and push her artistic boundaries, collaborating with local artists and performing at legendary venues like City Winery, DROM, and Nublu. As talented as she is versatile, this rising star is clearly destined for big things, and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for her.
Having received her degree in Jazz and Modern Music Performance from the respected ESEM Taller de Musics in Barcelona, Meïa has been able to combine formal training with free-natured artistic tendencies to great effect.
Having released several records, including the highly acclaimed EP Mülzien 25 and Stoop n° 6, as well as her well-received album Lighthouse, her rapidly expanding discography seems to reach new heights every time she releases.
A true artistic spirit at heart, she’s also expanded her voice and composition skills by venturing into new forms of art like experimental movement and acting, rounding out her artistic personality.
