Singer/Songwriter Murtazin combines the modern elements of pop music with timeless blues/jazz with driven guitar riffs, and raw, authentic vocals. He originally hails all the way from Uzbekistan but he currently resides in Orlando where he began to pursue his music. Some of his inspirations includes; Nirvana, Coldplay, John Mayer and more. As an independent artist, Murtazin has been performing in the Orlando scene over three years now but his long awaited single “Can’t Get Enough” featuring Casey Conroy is finally here!
We couldn’t hold our excitement for this anticipated hit and decided to go ahead and listen as soon as we could and let me tell you! We were completely mesmerized! From his prepossessing voice that’s loaded with passionate rasp and warmth, to the transporting guitar that opens the song off before the beat transforms into a soft pop melody.
The tune of the hook is absolutely addicting. “I can’t get enough, I can’t get enough of you” it’s perfect for all you honeymoon lovers who need a romantic jingle to bring closer the companionship between you both. The sweet and poetic lyrics propels the theme of the song forward. Everything about “Can’t Get Enough” was fluid, and focused. We were just completely overwhelmed by the assured talent in their voices. He absolutely soothes his listener with a harmonically-rich chorus and breathtaking verse. Just as the song says, we can’t get enough of it!

Hi Murtazin! It's great to chat with you. Can you tell our readers a bit about yourself?
I moved to Orlando, Fl from Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 2004. My first real inspiration for music was my older brother. He learned a few songs on the guitar and I thought it was “cool thing to do” so I followed in his footsteps. At 21, I began playing music professionally, predominantly involved in the Orlando cover scene, but would now like to focus on my original music full time.
How has your upbringing and background influence your music style?
Growing up, my family was relatively musical but I was really the first one in the family to do it professionally. Some of the earlier inspirations for my music were the likes of Nirvana, Coldplay, John Mayer and currently Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei and Hablot Brown.
We love your new single "Can't Get Enough", can you please tell us what the meaning behind the song is? The lyrics for this song originated as a fabricated experience- a story of the first stage of falling in love and all of the fascination and uncertainty that comes with it. Funny enough, the script flipped for me because towards the end of finishing the song I met someone who made me feel exactly as the song did.
What are some challenges you faced creating this record!?
As with any first single, the release of Can’t Get Enough came with a huge learning curve of both the artistic discipline of getting a song where you want it to be and the first look into the business side of the creating original music- something I had never come across in my work in covering music.
What's next for you throughout 2019?
This year, I plan on really honing in on my original work- fine-tuning my sound and establishing a creative flow of personal and collaborative releases. I am really looking forward to more music, more shows and would love for those who believe in Can’t Get Enough to journey through it with me.
