Cycamore might be a “new” band, but every member is a Nashville legend who’s been shaping the sound of American music for decades. With their debut single The Heart of America,” these studio heavyweights are stepping into the spotlight, and the result is pure magic.

The lineup reads like a Country Music Hall of Fame roster: drummer Eddie Bayers (Vince Gill, Garth Brooks), guitarist Jeff King (Faith Hill, Johnny Cash), acoustic ace Pat McGrath (Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood), producer and pianist Dane Bryant (Clint Black, Olivia Newton-John), and bassist Mike Brignardello (Shania Twain, Amy Grant). Together, they’ve played on thousands of hits; now, they’re crafting one of their own.

Originally written to support Habitat for Humanity’s Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in 2005, “The Heart of America” raised over $100 million to rebuild homes. Cycamore’s revival takes that same message of hope and unity and gives it a folk-rock edge, driving drums, soulful guitars, and a vocal performance by Adam Cunningham that feels straight from the soul.

As Bryant puts it, “We want to remind everyone of the threads that connect us all—our shared humanity and love for this country.”

The track is a gut-punch reminder that America’s strength has always come from its people. The music video brings that message to life, spotlighting everyday heroes and communities across the country. It’s emotional, it’s honest, and it’s exactly what we need in a time that feels more divided than ever.
