Nashville’s influence reached new heights this week as the Society of Leaders in Development (SOLID) teamed up with Lucky Money Entertainment to bring the heart of Music City to Manhattan. The two powerhouse organizations hosted a high-energy networking event on the rooftop of The Brass Monkey in New York’s Meatpacking District during Advertising Week, pulling in an eclectic mix of students, executives, and artists from both coasts.

The event wasn’t just a social hour; it was a statement. By merging Nashville’s tight-knit creative ecosystem with New York’s fast-paced entertainment scene, SOLID and Lucky Money Entertainment sparked new opportunities for connection, mentorship, and collaboration across state lines. Guests floated between conversations that spanned label deals, marketing strategies, and the shared challenges of building careers in an evolving industry.

SOLID President Zach Green described the evening as the realization of a long-term vision. “This NYC mixer was the culmination of years of hoping and planning within the SOLID community, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome,” Green shared. “New partnerships were discussed, students learned about our mentorship program, and we even connected with a former SOLID President who currently lives in Manhattan. All of this was possible thanks to the collaboration and sponsorship from Sarah Morey and her incredible team at Lucky Money Entertainment.”

Lucky Money Entertainment’s Sarah Morey, who spearheaded the event from the NYC side, echoed that excitement. “I am so honored to have partnered with SOLID for Lucky Money's first step into the New York City market,” she said. “We saw an incredible turnout ranging from students to industry veterans, eager to meet and connect. Lucky Money Entertainment is looking forward to further establishing our presence in New York City in 2026.”

With this successful debut, SOLID continues to redefine what it means to lead within the music industry—building bridges between communities that rarely intersect. The organization has already announced its next stop beyond Music Row: a Los Angeles mixer on November 10th in partnership with Jump Global, further cementing its role as a national force for collaboration and career development.

For Nashville and New York, this partnership wasn’t just another industry event, it was proof that the future of music thrives when worlds collide.
