Writer: BUZZ LABUZZ LA

Prince Amine is a Morocco-born hip hop-urban singer who was raised by his father in Spain and Montreal. He incorporates his experiences and background into his songs bringing a cultural spin to his music. Prince Amine found his passion for music at a young age – he released his first album called “XVIII” on his 18th birthday! The album reached over 100k listens on Spotify in less than 5 months and, since then, his fan base has been increasing exponentially. His second album “Hram Vybez” reached #9 on the National Airplay Hip Hop Chart, #15 on the Electronic Chart and #21 on the World Music Chart.

Prince Amine’s new song “Take Your Soul” introduces a new style of music compared to his past albums. He transitioned from dancehall and afrobeat into a more passionate R&B style that will still make you want to dance along. A delicate piano plays in the background of “Take Your Soul” along with a chill beat. There is one part of the song that the backtrack stops to spotlight Prince Amine’s voice, giving the song a refreshing change of pace. Lyrically, he sings about the struggles of making it as an artist. Singing about his struggles and experiences is what gives “Take Your Soul” its authenticity and personal touch. In the past year, Prince Amine opened for famous international artists including Dadju, Maitre Gims, and Mr. Eazi. He is set to release his 3rd album “Doubted Child” soon as he continues to take off as an artist.
