Pop-Rock band RAGS AND RICHES, based in Lexington, Kentucky is comprised of two members and brothers! Tanner and Peyton Whitt formed RAGS AND RICHES in 2017 and haven’t looked back. Over the last two years the brothers have been establishing and curating their unique craft and sound. In 2019 the dynamic duo released their debut single “Speed Of Sound” which saw an impressive 650k strems on Spotify and 500k Youtube views in less than 3 months!

Hello RAGS AND RICHES! Can you start by telling us what you’ve been up to since you were last featured on BuzzMusic?
Hello BuzzMusic, appreciate the feature once again! We have been quite busy between touring, working on future music, videos, and rebranding RAGS AND RICHES to move forward and progress as a band!
We also, just released our debut EP, ‘Arrival’. Which includes, “Arrival”, “X”, and “War Cry”. We love these songs and feel our current fan base and new fans will connect with them as much as we have.
What are some challenges you’ve faced as a group? How do you overcome those challenges?
The biggest struggles we have at the moment are that we’re a small team trying to conquer all the tasks in front of us. Peyton is always working on Graphics, Marketing, Music, Videos, and our Website. While I, Tanner, am handling the booking, financial side of things, marketing, and constantly writing lyrics. Needless to say, we stay very busy and focused!
What is your fanbase like in Lexington?
It’s continuously growing, we have some bigger shows coming up in Lexington that should help us build some more local support.
Where are you most excited to perform on your tour?
We are looking honestly looking forward to performing in every state, but we are thrilled to perform in Washington, Oregon, and California.
What’s next for RAGS AND RICHES?
We have a ton of music coming out the remainder of this year, along with a series of music videos as well.
