Paola Sophia is a 24 year old is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from El Salvador. At a very young age Paola developed a strong interest for music, Paola started singing, which lead to playing the guitar and the piano. Paola furthered her love of music and decided to go to college for Music Business and Technology where she learned music production techniques and insight to the music industry which has aided her in newly released songs.
A memorizing guitar riff opens Paola’s latest single “Another Star”, as we are introduced to Paola's moving mezzo-soprano voice. The verses and chorus encircles us just as if they were a star orbiting a planet. “Another Star” is an alternative tune with grungy guitar chords and pounding drums, but the track also has a “space odyssey” element to it. “Another Star” is now streaming on all platforms.

Hi Paola! Loved your new song. Can you tell us about the song and what the meaning behind it is?
My newest single called Muse is about realizing that you can’t blame only one person in a relationship. It’s about apologizing for your mistakes and asking for a second chance to the love of your life.
Where does your songwriting inspiration come from?
My songwriting inspiration comes from daily events.
Who would you say has impacted your musical style?
I try to incorporate elements from different styles of music and different artists and create my own sound.
Where would you love to play your latest single “Another Star” (certain festival, venue etc)?
I would love to play my latest single “Muse” at Hangout Music Festival & Lollapalooza.
What is next for you?
I am currently working on an EP. I plan to release it by the end of 2019.
