Welcome to BuzzMusic Lex! You give off a really confident aura through your music! Is this a skill you've developed over time or has it come naturally to you?

Thank you for having me! I appreciate the kind words. Confidence is definitely something that has developed over time. My music has helped with that tremendously being able to express myself freely through my music from a genuine place whether it be influenced by something or someone else or my different personal experiences. I’m in a good space creatively and that’s what you can hear through my music and feel at a LIVE show.

"Kick It" hit us to our very core with your vocal performance. Do you find it comes effortlessly to fill your voice with such passion?

Thank you! With every song, I record my goal is to always fully emote whatever emotion/emotions that would tell the story best cause ultimately songs are like short stories & I wanna make sure people feel what I’m singing about. Even if I don’t hit the right note, it’s all about the feeling for me & how it would make others feel listening to it.

As a song that presents itself as a heart-warming love song, was it emotional for you to write/record "Kick It"?

“Kick It” was actually one of my favorite songs to record.. it’s about the brighter side of love & wanting to spend all your time with that special person so definitely feel-good vibes.

Do you feel that your music is an accurate depiction of your life? Do you feel ultimately connected to your listeners through your music?

Absolutely. I feel the most connected with my listeners through my music because my songs are about real-life experiences. Whether it be something I went through, someone around me, or an experience I witnessed. I get inspiration from any & everywhere when I create music so it’s definitely a peek into my actual life that my listeners get to know about.

What are you currently working on?

I’ll be releasing some singles soon and I’m currently working on a project now. An EP, I’ve just been nonstop recording to make sure it’s just right. Also, some visuals and a lot of cool stuff I’m excited about. Stay tuned!

Thanks for taking the time to chat with us! What’s next for you artistically? Does your creativity manifest itself in other ways?

My EP is on its way! It’ll be out very soon but in the meantime, I’ll have some singles my listeners can stream while I get it together & also some visuals they can get into. Also, live shows I’m looking forward to performing and connecting with my supporters.

Most definitely, my creativity manifests itself in a lot of other areas too. Like in my style/fashion, in beauty cause I have a passion for makeup as well, in acting with the different roles I audition for.. I love to dance as well. I don’t think my creativity ever stops or turns off. It’s all gas, no breaks for me.
