PizzyPresh is an artist all the way from West Africa, Nigeria, who grew up listening to variations of music, but focuses heavily on afrobeat. His music engages listeners by recounting stories and life experiences. PizzyPresh put his authentic African flair on his beats to create a truly original experience.
Now hailing from Houston, Texas, his latest release, “No Be Lie (Love Riddim)” fuses PizzyPresh’s well-known afrobeat vibe with an upbeat house-inspired tempo, creating an authentic Afro-house tune. The lyrics hone in on the importance of proving your love to someone through actions and always going the extra mile to prove that your love is real. “No Be Lie (Love Riddim)” features PizzyPresh’s cool auto-tuned vocals and contagious soundscapes. As PizzyPresh strides through the song, framed by gusts of fire and power, he proves his dominance in changing the music scene. “No Be Lie (Love Riddim)” is equipped with bouncing melodies, a catchy hook and is a complete summer anthem. PizzyPresh’s vocals are hypnotizing and keep the theme upbeat and addicting. We’re completely entranced by the contemporary blend of Afro-beats and contemporary house music. Welcome back PizzyPresh! What have you been up to since we last featured your track “Hot Temper” in May!?
Great it's always my pleasure! So yeah i have been working on myself recording more songs you know just trying to perfect my craft by being a better brand as an independent artist and I also put out a free song titled ''Gum Body'' around June just to keep the fans going.
Who has had the biggest influence on your life musically thus far? Can you describe the impact this particular individual has had in terms of your sound/progression as an artist?
Musically In as much as i know that I'm beginning to have my sound, I would say I will stick with Chronixx, Kizzdaniel and my new favorite Koffee. A perfect description on how this guys have impacted me in helping me to be a better singer would be their uniqueness and style of the way they make music it always comes from a deep side that has a good story line and which I believe every artist should always have when writing a song unless you do not make no sense to me so therefore they influence my style a lot.
Congratulations on releasing your new single “No Be Lie (Love Riddim)”. You seems to always deliver singles that involved love and real-life experiences, is this a trend you hope to always incorporate into your music?
Yeah It's there any reason to sing about having six cars or too much money when I know I don't have it now, then why sell dreams to my fans? I want to touch every single aspect about life when singing but it has to come from a real experience what ever might be the case. Everything I see around and that happens in my life and not just mine also in other people's life i get inspired and I put it down into writing and I make the best story out of it. I think that alone makes me stand out from my fellow growing or upcoming artist so whenever you hear ''Pizzy is singing'' in the intro then you know he truly is! and for the love side of me I'm a very romantic person specially with words so I feel there's a need to apply that in my music then if seems like a style listeners are noticing in my music and it's working then I will stick with it.
It was great having you here on BuzzMusic once again! Tell us more about what's next for you after this song release? Any shows in the near future?!
You Know I am always happy to be here and thank you guys for the love and support on the boy! I'm really focused on working on my sound and self for now trying to get the music far, I am currently speaking with different music PR's but hopefully we would see for now no shows two more singles and may be a project next year because you can't predict Yahdreamboy (laughs).
