Hailing from Asbury Park, N.J., is singer-songwriter, recording artist, and multi-instrumentalist Rachel Ana Dobken with her fiery, emotion-packed new single, "Cruel, Cruel, Cruel."

Having shared the stage with acts like Pearl Jam's Mike McCready, The Gaslight Anthem's Brian Fallon, Incubus' Ben Kenney, and many more, Rachel Ana Dobken is proving herself a powerhouse artist often described as "My Morning Jacket meets Amy Winehouse." She has a knack for blending indie rock with psych and soul, crafting an impactful sound uniquely hers.

More recently, Dobken released her hot new single "Cruel, Cruel, Cruel," and an accompanying music video directed by Nick Wolf (Howl Peak Productions) with help from Pete Carter and Allie Leavy.

The song is a straight-up banger produced by Dobken and Erik Kase Romero (The Front Bottoms). With sonic influences from Thin Lizzy, Jeff Buckley, and Angel Olsen, this song expresses Dobken's frustration of feeling shut out and ignored in a turbulent relationship.

"Cruel, Cruel, Cruel" kicks off with smooth guitar licks and Rachel Ana Dobken's angsty vocals expressing her distaste for how she's been treated by a so-called lover. But, without hesitating, she jumps into the power-packed hook and makes it clear that she's over and done with being disappointed.

While smashing the drums, shredding her guitar, and igniting our speakers with powerful vocals, Rachel Ana Dobken effortlessly commands our undivided attention from every angle.

The song’s music video shows Dobken and fellow musicians Dan Haase- bass, and Erik Rudic- guitar, jamming out at a local skatepark in coastal New Jersey, showcasing her musical talent while emphasizing the song's message loud and clear: She's done being treated in a "Cruel, Cruel, Cruel" way.

Everything from the high-energy punk rock sound to the groovy bass lines from Dan Haase makes this a treat for the ears, and we urge you to experience it for yourself.
