Rice Elevates The Hip-Hop Game In New Music Video For "New Jack"

Heat, power, authority. Three words that sum up Rice and his latest music video for "New Jack." He's a new jack of all trades, and he's coming for your gig.

Jerard Rice, better known as Rice, is a New England-based independent rapper, songwriter, and recording artist. He's proving himself as an artist to watch, having won Best Hip-hop Video at XMA 2022 for "Big Dreams" and Best Hip-hop Performance Video for "No Brady" at XMA 2021, not to mention gaining Grammy consideration with "Juice." And now, he's showing no signs of slowing down.

Rice recently released a solid music video for his heavy-hitting track, "New Jack," which ignites the speakers with authority, confidence, and knowing one's worth. After all, he's moving up in hip-hop's rankings, so he's not settling for anything but greatness.

What we appreciate most about the "New Jack" video is its underlying sense of positivity and soul, inspiring listeners to chase their dreams and know their worth. But don't get it twisted; Rice is still dabbing his sweat with dollar bills—literally. But with all those earnings from blood, sweat, and tears, we'd be doing the same.

"I'm on stages that I never thought I'd be touching. I'm doing things that I never thought I'd be doing. The prices are up because I'm up. You can't water down the flavor; that's like giving someone watered-down Kool-Aid," Rice expresses mid-video.

If he makes anything clear in "New Jack," it's that Rice is a force to be reckoned with, climbing the charts and snatching gigs left and right. If Rice isn't on your hip-hop radar yet, he is now. Watch the "New Jack" music video on YouTube, and find the single on all digital streaming platforms.
