“Ridin’ Round Da City” By Darcy Muhoza Delivers The Perfect Song For Late Night Drives

“Ridin’ round da City” is an infectious summer-vibe from, up and comer, Darcy Muhoza. What impresses about this release is not just the unique sound, but the spectacular lyricism, the smart leading voice, and the story-line and details. While that retro R&B vibe outline creates a nostalgic energy, the verses work hard to captivate and add substance to the process. Where “Ridin’ round da City” could have been a simple repeat of bars from countless other summer hits, Darcy Muhoza makes sure to throw his own spin on things, to mix it up and showcase his intelligence and impressive writing skills. At the same time, the work put in results in a brilliantly energizing and even motivational bit of timeless music. Don’t sleep on Darcy Muhoza, stay on the lookout for what he delivers next!

Darcy Muhoza the heartbreak kid, originally from Rwanda relocated to Calgary in 2007. He started making music professionally in 2018. With a mix of soul, R&B & hip-hop, his catchy melody and witty punchlines take you into his world through his eyes. You can expect more music from the charismatic up and coming Calgary artist who promises to release his first mixtape in 2019.

Welcome to BuzzMusic! We’re addicted to your single “Ridin’ round da City”! What does this song represent for you?

Ridin' round da City is my first rhythmic song, it's easy to listen filled with melody, it's a night out with my homies, it's just us on our bullshit. it's a Nod to my oppositions, as they watch me Marathon away as Nipsey Hussle said.

Where is the best setting to listen to “Ridin’ round da City” and what do you hope people take away from it?

I hope the get vibes from it, it's really for any and every occasion. play it in the car, play it at the club, play it for your neighbor, neighbors Mama, the dogs, and the cats. it's that late night in the car wind down or that early morning bump, regardless of the setting, give the song a chance it's a Bop. Enjoy

What’s your favorite lyric that you feel has the most impact in “Ridin’ round da City”? Why?

The line that sticks out the most to me, is probably " My haters hooked they favorite show, well tonight, a scary episode.. Mama LOOK, I made the Money Talk." to me, that's a clear visualization of what we all go through, we all deal with doubt, we all have an audience, and it's not necessarily always a standing ovation, and the best way to silence them is let your work show your worth, it's a Marathon you need to save your breath.

If you had to pick just one song in your collection to adequately describe your sound, which song would you choose and why?

My sound is always expanding, you can't really pin it down to one sound. Y'all ain't seen nothing yet. I offer a unique and unexpected delivery in each genre i approach.

What other projects are you working on through the end of 2019?

I'm releasing the video for Ridin' round da City, as well as a few releases for my upcoming mixtape. That's really all I can say right now, the rest you just have to see.
